Aajam Riverfront Rooms

We had booked for 3 nights but ended up staying for 5, the staff were really nice and helpful, and the river views were fantastic. The room was large and had a seating area a tv and a large fridge, the bed was a little hard but not a major problem.the bathroom was a bit basic but functional, we always had hot water in the shower. The rooms and the bedding were clean and we had fresh towels every day. They provide tea and coffee in the morning and bread / toast and jam, which is fine for me but I know some guests have said they could offer more. The outside area is very quiet and has lovely views of the river, it's nice to watch the sun go down from the floating pontoon. Now I have to say the only draw back we found was the local dogs---- to get to the main road it's about a 4/5 minute walk , in daylight it's no problem they are asleep and leave you alone, after dark if the home owners are around they don't bother you too much but later on we found them to be quite intimidating, and it was quite unnerving ---- but having said that Aajam is a good place to stay and only a 15 minute walk from the river Kwai bridge.
