7 reviewswas a two room operation run by a mother and a daughter. The daughter speaks excellent English, and the mother clearly understands what is being said. While there were a number of fancy restaurants at the resorts up near the caves, the best food we had was right at the guest house. I could tell this was “real” Thai food, not some tourist version. We ate whatever they were eating that night, and all of it was good. They were also kind enough to lend us one of their scooters for the duration of our stay and hang out with us around a campfire in the evenings. A nice addition to the place is their dog Star. She is the cleanest dog in Thailand, and also the only one I’ve seen sit and ride around on the back seat of a scooter. I’d like to return to Chiang Dao just so we can stay here again.
