Union Beach Bungalows

We have booked directly with Musa ( +255 776 583 412) the owner at Union Beach Bungalows. We stayed for 16 days . We took our MNT bicycles and explored the gravel roads. The room is large, we had a unit on the ground floor. Breakfast is included- fruit, eggs or Pancake. Coffee and tea. Some mornings we did get juice. We have asked that they clean the room every day because previous reviews said they do not clean every day - and the ladies did a great job. There was some power failures but this is Zanzibar- The water was cold sometimes but when we reported it to the reception, they fixed it very quickly. The internet was good at the restaurant . We bought for 20 000 shillings a sim card and we had a months data unlimited and used another phone to hotspot our devices. There are free sun beds but you can rent one for 10 000 shillings , which has a mattress.( would have been nice if you get that for free if you stay for longer than 7 days...) Everything in Zanzibar is Pole- Pole- slow- but that is why we came here- to slow down. We ate at many different restaurants. I will stay here again- we did get great service from Musa. We could pay by credit card- which was the reason we booked . ATM's was only at the airport and they do plan to put one in Nungwi- not sure when they will open it.
