Sorry this Review is long past due. We stayed at Otousann Hotel and Lodging in December 2016. It is not peak travel season so we were one of the few guests staying at the hotel. The owners were very friendly and showed us around. The gated grounds and the hotel rooms are very clean. The hotel provided HOT breakfast the next morning with congee, eggs, and lots of small dishes. Home made drinks. Excellent hospitality. We enjoyed sitting out in the December sun while enjoying the cool breeze. We met both generations of the friendly owners.they told us the Hotel is named Otousann (Japanese for Father) to remember their father/grandfather. They have lived and worked in the area for generations and really care about their customers. Also, this Hotel is Pet-Friendly and they make sure to do extensive cleaning after the guests move-out. The grounds are well kept. The location is close to the main tourist attractions like the White Sand and South beaches. Yet at the same time it is quiet at night. So if you want to avoid the bustle of Kenting main street, consider staying here for the night. Definitely recommend and will visit again in the future!
