The hotel is cute but is too proud of its aesthetic and puts this before guest experience. Hotel staff moved my belongings all around the room (I am a tidy person staying only a few days).  This felt unnecessary, inappropriate, and impacted my comfort and overall experience. They moved items inside my luggage.  This was all seemingly just to make the room look pretty like no one was staying in it.  Additionally, the lobby smells like perfume and plays a limited soundtrack on repeat incessantly.  This hotel is fine, but I hope the owners will start putting guest experience ahead of their pride. 

Cute but too proud

A tourist bus visited for a herring sampler. Obviously times cannot be guaranteed, hence a cold plate of 2 kinds of herring + sauce, potato, something crisp etc. was laid out waiting.  There was also a can of water or light beer. All very nice and acceptable. 
Typically clean & neat. Excellent toilets. 
An excellent afternoon stop.

Step into this time capsule where time has stood still since the 1950’s. Considering the price they’re charging you would expect some upgrades. Like comfortable beds for instance. Good location and a good lunch menu doesn’t really make up for for the fact that this hotel definitively passed its best before date.

Blast from the past

Was one night there, it's very simple rooms with smelly bathroom. feels more like a bed breakfast place with a worn down feeling. Its to expensive for what you get, the hole place is run down and don't look nice at all. 
room very hot if sunshine no AC or ventilation only window to open. and in my case to the street so very noisy. 
Staff is friendly and informative. 
Breakfast was supposed to be served between 9-10 but when i came down at 9:15 they had allready picked half up so very poor selection was left. 
So if you find a other  place take it! 

Simple place

Close to harbour to walk, and rooms are OK, free parking. It is a good idea to choose a room on the back side of the hotel in summer, street can be noisy if windows are open.
Services are limited, breakfast is "budget type", but price is good for Sweden.

Good budget hotel for one night

Well, it isn't the poshes places in bohuslän, but maybe that's why we like it?
The rooms are all with two single beds but could be moved together. The rooms are basic but  pretty clean and functional.
We liked the 50's touch throughout.
The dinner and breakfast was excellent.

Enjoyed the stay, rooms pretty dull but OK

This hotel is renovated in 50s style. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is a restaurant and bar on the lower floor. Parking on the street just outside the hotel. The hotel does not have views but it is only a short stroll to the harbour and a big shop just around the corner.
