My two friends and I took a 3-day biking trip from Trosa to Lövsund in Sweden in early July. When we arrived at the Runnivikens Pensionat, bedraggled and tired, Claire, the warm and gracious owner, immediately made us feel comfortable. And, omg the inn! The rooms—all decorated by the talented Claire—are truly lovely. The property itself is amazing, situated on a peninsula surrounded by water. And the meals! We ate the most delicious food for both breakfast and dinner. Our entire stay was over-the-top, and I can't wait to get back to Lövsund and Claire's genuine warmth, tasteful traditional Swedish décor, and a first-class experience! p.s. An extra thrill for me were the stables on the property, which Claire and her husband lease to extremely accomplished riders.
