I love to stay with the family of the Dr. Shamali. She is an Ayuveda Dr. and her husband is a western Dr. The Ayuveda Treatment is very authentic. I had full Board homemade Ayuveda food included the Panchakarma Treatment. This means everyday full body massage, some herbal bath, steam bath, herbal inhalation, flower bath and nose cleaning and intestine purigation. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly. I was pampered all the time of my stay. I really recommend to stay at this place and take the chance of an authentic Ayuveda Treatment.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Suwa Arana, which was conveniently located only a short walk from the main part of Mirissa beach. Our room was a decent size, clean and well presented. There was well functioning air con and WiFi. All the staff that we dealt with were extremely friendly and willing to help us with anything that we needed. 

We stayed at this guesthouse for just one night but it was totally fine, big room with AC, bathroom was nice, good location close to the beach and the staff were helpful. No kettle or drinking water included in the room. Overall fine!

Location is good on the opposite side of the beach across the main road. Rooms are quieter. The owner is very hospitable and gave me an upgraded room. I had a massage at the Spa but that was not very special and did not have a relaxed spa atmosphere. Just a lot of rubbing motion instead of actual massaging of the tissues.

Great stay for the price! 

Mirissa guesthouse

Simple but clean facilities.

Even if its quite cheap compare the other bkf in Mirissa, it was horrible. 
And Im not a fusy person... 
The pancake was salty and not enough cooked. 
The omelette very salty with a strong taste of coconut oil.
Just 2 slices of bread.
The jam with a fluo orange color. Very chimical. 
The coffee not good.
I was looking forward to eat some fruits. 
But even that was a disaster. 
It was salty with a dishes product taste. 
Maybe she Forgot To clean correcty the knife...? 
I Said that To the owner. 
He said nothing and left. 
So just go somewhere else if you want To take care of your body...

For breakfast : run away

We paid 50% off on booking.com and this room was definitely not even worth that. It stunk constantly, extremely damp and stunk of mold. The sheet, which didn’t cover the mattress was yellow and had cigarette burns. The sheet ontop was also yellow and smelt. The breakfast was cold bread with dirty utensils. The only person who actually assisted us was the 10y/o daughter. Do not pay the full price for this.
