Stayed for 6 nights in double room.
Is a very small family run guesthouse, they are very friendly and helpful.
If you wish you can cook your own meals or order lunch and dinner. Had fried chicken rices and can recommend it.
It is a budget guesthouse in Asia, but price and quality correspond.

This young family Pa,Ma,boy7,girl15months &granny(no english spoken) have only been running under 6months  they are a friendly helpful couple she will cook a supper for you if arriving late or he will get you a takeout,it is about 4km from Galle no.381 bus 12R or tuk tuk 300R.you ask for Kalliganne stop. We stayed 4nights breakfast is included but as nothing is covered fly's dine before you it is a quiet area guess with time they will do OK.Wi fi poor.Heath & Safety minefield...............

New Venture

First of all, be aware that there is only 1 filthy bathroom that you have to share with everyone (on booking there is nothing about shared bathroom). There is dust everywhere and all the other things the girl says under my opinion. Our breakfast was dry breath with butter and jam, cup of tea, some fruit, so very low budget. At least that is what we´ve got. When we were done the lady was preparing the breakfast for another couple and she was putting warm food on the table? hmm.. when I notice that she just looked shocked and went fast to the kitchen.. It is way too expensive for just a homestay, because yes that is what it is. At least it was just one night and the very last one.

Not ok.

Hands down, Seneka is a nice guy.  He showed me Fort by night and we had a good laugh, however: there was no way I could stay for the initial 3 nights that I had booked. 
The place is so filthy. The walls are covered in cob webs, very basic doesn't even cover it. He was understanding, when I said I wouldn't stay, but charged me the full second day and kept 300 lkr for a tuk tuk I nevee booked. Breakfast was tea, dry bread and cibweb covered bananas. I'm vegan, okay, but anywhere else I had fab Sri Lankan breakfast. 
He then said I was a no-show, in order for me not to vote.
