La Plantación

For this destination a car is strongly advised. There is a central parking area included.Spacy comfortable bungalows with simple kitchen in a nice garden with swimming pool. Further away you can see the ocean, which is more below. Not in a city or village, but there is a well equiped Spar super market at 5 minutes walking distance and an excellent Italian restaurant (with cook from Sicily) in a small village at 15 minutes walking. Some more restaurants are at similar distance or a little further. Los Llanos is 5 to 10 minutes by car, and so is the beach village of Puerto Naos. The direct surroundings are not very special, but at a little more distance there are nice things to see and walks to make. It is a good central base for excursions around the island. In summer time the best chances for sunshine are on the western half of the island, in winter on the eastern half. La Plantacion is on the western half. We were there in corona time when it was very quiet and facilities like tennis were not availble.
