I celebrated my birthday at blueroom it was a burst...the waiter busi was friendly and the music was very good.i had fun will definitely come again the experience was amazing.....the drinks and the music was very good....I had lots of fun thank you

It was nice being here I'll visit again some time.

We stayed here we had 5 apartments between us they are really nice one apartment had an issue with a door and was sorted straight away they are clean and spacious two double bedrooms with plenty of storage the shower was nice plenty of hot water we were half board you go across the road to the hotel less than 5 minutes walk it was excellent food with plenty of choice the staff were so friendly and helpful we also used the pool it was a lovely location next to the sea and was quiet and relaxing I would like to return and would recommend these apartments if you want a relaxing holiday thanks again to all the helpful staff

We've stayed at the Hotel S'Algar several times now but this was our first stay in an apartment. We were in the second row with  a partial sea view. The apartment was clean and functional.  The mattress was firm but comfortable and we had plenty of hot water! I would agree with previous comments that the apartments need some attention.There was paint peeling off the furniture and doors, the bathroom tap needed replacing and the door handles were loose. I don't like to criticise as I'm  a HUGE fan of the hotel but I'm sure these superficial problems  could be sorted.  It certainly didn't spoil our holiday but I'm not sure I'd stay in one again. 😕

Another fabulous holiday but....!

We stayed at the Port Blue San Luis a couple of years ago and had a fabulous time using the facilities available at the Port Blue S'Algar so this time we thought we would go back and stay at the S'Algar Apartments (called Rafalet).  We were hugely disappointed for the following reasons.

1. The apartments are barely a 2* yet advertised as a 4* as they are connected to the hotel and use the same reception / facilities.  Do not be misled.  They are dreadful, tired inside with very poor air conditioning (none at all in the bedrooms) and are nowhere near a 4* accommodation by UK standards.
2. The apartment we were allocated had a faulty AC unit, one of the ceiling fans in the bedroom was falling off the ceiling and didn't work but maintenance did nothing to rectify the situation other than provide a desk top temporary fan.
3.  We had no hot water for 3 of our 4 day stay in our bathroom.  We were fobbed off for the first day and then offered an alternative room but only to shower in for the remaining 2 days - completely impractical and an absolute joke.
4.  The safe is chargeable at 2 Euros per day to secure your items (this is not refundable) and is not even of an adequate size to fit more than a purse and phone.
5.  The S'Algar hotel restaurant is now buffet for every meal sitting whereas previously it had a more refined a la carte menu in the evening - this was hugely disappointing.
6.  The pool bar now closes very early and the staff will not serve guests of the hotel after closing.  You therefore cannot get a drink during the evening at poolside.  You would think they would at least keep it open until the pool closes - ridiculous.
7.  The pool bar used to be open during the evening and the venue for some fantastic entertainment on our previous visit.  It is no longer open meaning all guests have to cram into the inadequate hotel bar which does not have enough seating outside and no air conditioning inside.  The entertainment was outside and was rubbish this year.
8.  The staff at the hotel have hugely reduced in calibre.  Thankfully we didn't have to visit reception here last time, but as previous reviewers have stated the staff are unhelpful verging on rude.  The pool bar staff do not speak English.  The lifeguard has no idea what rules he is enforcing and appears to contradict every 'pool rule' stated on the board poolside but allow pool users to behave in an unacceptable way.  The only staff we encountered who were actually helpful and smiled were the chefs in the restaurant.
9.  You can no longer eat and get drinks on the all inclusive package in the other Port Blue hotel next door that we stayed in last time and for which there was a reciprocal arrangement.  The evening entertainment there is much better this year so we just walked up the road with arms full of drinks which makes no sense.
10.  The hotel is advertised as adult only but children are allowed in the hotel pool - figure that one out!!
11.  There was no power 2 days of our 4 day holiday to the whole hotel complex.  The management did nothing to compensate guests.
12.  The beds in the apartments are rock hard.  I like a firm bed but I might as well have been lying in the road.

Needless to say we will never return.

Very disappointing return visit

Horrible hotel, horrible service, AC not working, technician not available afternoon. Everything looks so old, except kitchen countertop. If you speak Spanish all staff nice with you , but if not be ready they ignore you. We so disappointed we spent over 500$ for fly ticket and around 200$ for one night, and we keep in the living room remove mattress from bedroom because  AC unit just in the living room but not in the bedroom. Blueroom apartment is pease of sheet. Do not book this hotel.
