This hotel was just perfect! It was very clean and great value. It was about 10 minutes away from the Metro and the walk was effortless. Also, the hotel, as it is titled, is close to the river and in Madrid there is a lovely bike path that goes along the river. I decided to rent a bike and bike to and from the city center! It was less than a half-hour bike ride on a safe and pleasant bikeway. I also enjoy walking and the walk from the city center was about 45 minutes through some charming neighborhoods. So if you like staying in the neighborhoods and enjoy walking/biking and using the Metro, then don't overlook this place. When I return to Madrid, this will be my first choice!
