Beautiful views, charming village nice flat

Great place to stay in Fuencaliente. Marco and Diego received us like family and we felt at home. 
Marco can also show you the underwater beauty of la Palma since he also is a professional dive guide

Time for an update (stayed here 1st time few years ago and still a good deal for the price) Friendly host which showed up shortly after i arrived (couldn't tell exact time because walked Route de los Volcanos) and uncomplicated Check-In. Best view and if needed, kitchen downstairs (follow the rules as nobody wants to have ants in the room, supermarket around the corner) Slept well, thanks again

I never take the time to write a review but this time I will. Avoid that place! I arrived with exactly 12 minutes of delay at the door, called the number on the door and got somebody on the phone so rude that I thought he was drunk. He even dared to tell me that I should go elsewhere, if I can afford it! After endless discussion, he called the person of the reception and I could check in. During the rest of our stay, we never saw anybody at the reception, independently from the time. Absolutely no service. The room was clean, but the bed awful. And the water tank is too small to wash my hair, let aside a second shower if you are two (I am used to quick shower, but this is beyond that). Down on the Main Street, next to a very nice breakfast place, there is another pension. For the exact same price, you get a much better confort and service.

We had a lovely time in Fuencaliente, the Pensión is clean, well equipped and light and the area is quiet. Owner is very friendly . There’s lots to do especially if you like walking and amazing scenery. Good restaurants in town or you can do simple cooking in the appartment . A slightly more comfortable mattress and we would give it top marks.

After a moderately good review (7.2) that I left on Booking mentioning 10 EUR fee for the late check-in to be the only disadvantage, I got the reply from the owner ending with:

"next time you will come here after 20:30pm I'll not open the door and you will sleep on the road! Best regards. Marco, the owner of the Pension."

which makes me think the owner is not very customer-oriented :).

This is a wonderful pension whatever its name is.
Up a side street in the quiet town.
Very helpful and friendly owner to book you in.
Rooms are basic but with good facilities.
Roof top terrace gets ;lots of sun.

Excellent Pension.

Nice appartment in nice place with the best boss.he gave me every thing i needed.the appartment was full equipted.I could wash my clouthes and i fiund there iron.my appartments had kitchen.I changed my room 2 times and the manager said me ok you can choose .you feel there that every thing is safe and ok.i was 1 month there and when i wanted go earlier than our contract ,he paied back my money.this pension is near supermarket and you can buy everything you need.

Great wee place !!

Loved this place - clean and central - I will come back! It is convenient to restaurants and bars. There is a good bus service v near by. Hiking in the Volcanic Park to the South was great fun. Thanks Marco and Diego!
