This place is amazing. Great room, the host is the best and the breakfast, awesome! Don't hesitate, when in Capetown, book Brookdale House! 

Happy with service and everything clean. Located at center good value , sleep quality was coold but nice.  Rooms was cleaned every morning 

I stayed one night at Brookdale house during my transit through Cape Town. The house is very clean and cosy. The host and his dog were welcoming and warm, and I enjoyed the breakfast, which was tailored to my dietary needs. 

An excellent place with a really fantastic host... with a good sense of humour. Tasty wholesome breakfast in a neat and well maintained setting. Definitely recommend

The house is so cool and clean, attendants are very humble and charming, nice breakfast, environmentally superb,good location, hight security area. Superb 

Brokedale house is everything fine ,everything good has all hospitality I really  enjoyed the workers of their were kind ,lovely, care ,its amazing place ,the air was fine ,   all in all everything  was absolutely perfect 

My stay at Brookdale House was truly wonderful. The hotel is located in a peaceful neighborhood. The room was exceptional, and Kevin and Herman made my breakfast experience delightful. They were outstanding hosts, always full of humor and making the mornings enjoyable with their constant jokes.

We had an excellent stay at Brookdale House! The accommodation was comfortable and well-maintained, and the service was simply outstanding. Wonderful guests house with so much attention to detail. Hermanus and Kevin are fantastic hosts. They made an appointment at the hair salon for me, took me there and came to fetch me again. I really appreciated this service. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms decorated with great taste. There is an honesty bar where I helped myself to drinks and I wrote it in the honesty book. The shower in the morning was phenomenal with so much pressure. The gardens and the pool area are well looked after. Pinelands are very central and close to the airport. I would highly recommend staying at Brookedale House.

Exceptional Stay with Outstanding Service and Hospitality

Fantastic guestshouse with wonderful hosts, Hermanus and Kevin

Brookdale guest house is very clean . The young lad who cleaned my room and topped up my coffee sachets sail was amazing so thank you . I would very easily exchange my cleaning lady at home for him . ( Don’t tell her I said that 😂) The property is extremely safe and secure. It is about 15 mins drive from Airport and 20 mins drive to V&A Waterfront. A 10 min walk will get you to Howard’s Mall where there is a supermarket, restaurants, Fast Foods , hairdressers, laundromat, Woolworth and coffee shop . A very peaceful place to stay

BnB’s supply a Bed and a Breakfast and Brookdale did just that and much more . 
Room 1 was  a lovely comfortable room with its own entrance and leading out onto the lawn and pool . The guesthouse supplies beach towels for your convenience. The room has a safe ( FOC) a hairdryer and plug adapter. There is a small book swop in the dining room. WiFi is very good for what I needed . 

There is a tV . I found a film channel. The aircon was a wonderful treat . 
The bathroom was so clean and shower gel and moisturiser was supplied.

Breakfast was served in the dining room between 6-9am however the owner is Flexible if you are booked on any trips and will fit in with your timings . 
The breakfast is made to order and is waiter service ( rather than a breakfast buffet)
The fresh fruit salad is delicious and I loved the coffee . Excellent way to start your day. 

Pinelands is a nice suburb, with a golf course and shopping Mall . It is a very safe area with Neighbourhood Watch patrolling . It is 15 mins from the airport and about 20 mins into Waterfront in Cape Town . 
It is slightly out of the way but it’s such a beautiful safe area . Hiring a car is a good idea . Taxi’s or Uber will get you into town for about £13 each way. 

A walk to the Howard Mall takes about 10mins . There is a supermarket, Woolworths ( I thought they had gone bust !) hairdressers, nail bar , Wimpy, McDonald’s, KFC and a wonderful Vegetarian Noodle Restaurant. Banks and cash points 

The BnB is kept Immaculately clean and tidy 
It is safe and secure ( I am a 55 year old female solo traveler)
I would highly recommend Brookdale Guesthouse as a base to explore Cape Town and it’s fantastic beaches . Camps Bay was my favourite

Comfortable Bed , Nice Breakfast

We loved staying at Brookdale House. Everything was perfect, especially the warmth welcome and special attention from the owners. Small touches and attention for details made us very happy during our nice but too short stay. The breakfast is excellent and homemade bread to die for. Thanks so much Kevin and Herman !

Just Brilliant

Brookdale

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and let me sleep very well. The breakfast (free with the stay) was lovely if the sausages were too small. There was a loose brick at the pool and a close covering in the shower. But otherwise, it was positively wonderful.
