We chose this accommodation, because we were travelling by a car and didn't want to pay for parking in the old centre. And while this place seems only 1,5 km away from the Tartinijev trg, there is the height difference of 80 MASL. The best thing here was the setting: surrounded by a pleasant garden and blessed with a magnificent view of the sea. What came as a disappointment to us: from an apartment we would expect some level of being self-suficient regarding food, i.e. self-catering. While there was a fridge and an electric kettle, there was no cutlery and no other instruments to prepare meals. Trying to prepare a breakfast was such an ordeal, we rather chose to eat dinner in the town. The second, which felt strange: our IDs were confiscated for the duration of our stay, something we felt really uneasy about (and something that is illegal in our country), but we didn't have a way to communicate with the landlady, as she speaks no English and little German.
