In fact, we did not go although at first we reserved by phone a one-night stay. But when we asked them to confirm our telephone booking by e-mail they messed up the dates. We asked them about that in another telephone call and the lady on the phone said that she was wrong, so what and that if we don't like something, we don't have to come. You can imagine that we immediately cancelled our booking. After such rude attitude we did not expect any pleasant experience.

Rude attitute

This qas an outstanding experience,  the family are so friendly and helpful and they make you feel you are one of them. The rooms are spacious and with a view.  And the food! Oh god the the food was the best i had in a long time!!
The view is what you want to wake up to

Awesome experience 

We stayed at Govc-Vrsnik for 4 nights and it was absolutely lovely.  We were debating between staying here or in a well known luxury hotel in the area and have come to the conclusion that we lucked in and made the right decision.  The feel and surroundings of the farm are more in-keeping with the tradition and heritage of the area.  On top of that, among all farm stays, I think Govc-Vrsnik is the best!  The rooms are rustic (in a good way), ultra clean and comfortable, the farm to table breakfasts and dinners are amazing (and generous!).  We never had a bad meal here (3x breakfast and dinner) - all consistently very good.  The surroundings, feel and our gracious, kind and generous hosts (Marijana, Miha and Matias) all contributed to a perfect and enjoyable stay. Our hosts are very amenable to requests and just wanted to make sure we had a comfortable stay. And finally, let's not forget the stunning views everywhere you look. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

Best farm stay in the Solčavsko Region!

We stayed here for four nights in June this year and absolutely loved the place. The food is outstanding, the room was excellent with the most amazing view and the area is staggeringly beautiful. It is a family run business and we were well looked after by everyone. Cannot fault the place! (Well, maybe we ate too much but that’s our fault!)

Stunning in every way!

Beautiful scenery, lovely accommodation, kind and welcoming staff - our time here was wonderful! We turned our phones off, played cards games, drove to nearby lookouts, and enjoyed incredible food made on the farm! Can’t recommend this farm stay highly enough!

Just Stunning!

The views, lodging, service, food... all great. It's rare I often say I'd return to the exact same place since I often enjoy trying different lodging, areas, etc. but this is one of the few I'd return to without doubt.

Driving in you come up a hill and around the corner and the view is incredible. They say the Logar Valley is the most beautiful alpine valley in Slovenia, but think this one is better, to be honest. Plus, it's probably less crowded.

The lodging itself was very nice - great views from the rooms, well kept, and lots of public seating areas. 

The food was great - and I think all, or most all, comes from that farm. Even if you don't stay here, come for a meal.

Exceeded expecations

Amazing place. Food is really good, owners are so friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice, a lot of wooden elements, only wifo signal could be stronger. View from our room was just georgeus. I can recommend this small hotel to everyone. We will deffinetly come back soon :) 

Little gem :) 

We went there to have dinner, food was excelent and more than we could eat. The atmosphere is amazing, staff very friendly and welcomimg. They even served us dinner outside  because we were with a dog and didnt want to leave her in the car. Everything was amazing and would 100% recomend to stop there for a good homemade meal❤️❤️❤️

Friendly and welcoming, excelent food

A Beautiful farm and wonderful views. The food was excellent although a set menu each night Rooms comfortable but don't expect housekeeping...They don't do it !Wi Fi intermittent. Friendly staff and good English spoken. Only 5 miles from Loksgar Dolina in the Triglav National park.
 

Excellent Location to visit Saving Alps.

I cannot say enough about this place. We went here just to eat after a great tip (thank you Sonja- Guesthouse S, Luce). The food was splendid and more than we could eat including wine and dessert for practically nothing. My wife said she loved it there, so I went inside and was able to get a room for the next evening as a surprise. 

We came back the next day to the same amazing atmosphere. Sat at a solo table next to the barn, drank wine, wrote postcards and sucked in the surrounding gorgeous mountains and meadows. If you died and went to paradise, this is what it would look like.

Friendly staff- the two young men were great, adventurous, helpful, and explained a bit about their proud history. 

The only problem I had was that they couldn't extend our stay for another day because everything was booked out. 

If you want to forget about your troubles, enjoy life for what it should be like and just release all your pent up worries and frustrations, there is no better place.
