The hotel is amazing very close to the main attractions either in foot or via car . Great room clean , very spacious , helpful staff I recommend it with pleasure 😊 but unfortunately I didn’t get to try their food even though it looked super yummy 

Amazing place 

Located in a crowded area, small parking with thorny acces. Cleanliness. Average services. Average prices. Average food. Lack of entertainment possibilities. No acces to city guides or tours. A little bit noisy.

Well located

I've been attempting an event here, and I've been very well impressed about the service (very professional and prompt) and about the location. Beautiful old villa very nicely refurbished, neat and spacious rooms (TV, AC, minibar). The menu is classic and professionally cooked (nothing spectacular, but neither disgusting). The event was very well attended.

Me and my friends decided that this local could be a great opportunity for us to make a “new year party” . We were around 100 persons and the menu costed us 280lei(60 euro). It is not about money but it is about services, I mean okay we paid an amount of money that we probably have paid anyway , but what for? I will tell you for what we paid : -food: frozen fish(croquettes) with some mexican vegetables( with no salt or any taste) , but there was something that we could eat though..
-drink: the bottles ( with alcohol/juice) were UNSEALED, which is far from being ok, what were we drinking??? We did not know... After 24:00 (New year) the waiters told us that there are no more bottles...”Are you kidding me?”  Pleas do not think that we are some alcoholics teenagers because we are not , we took some shots or some vodka orange.. but I repeat the bottles were unsealed, and our drinks vanished after 1am . What have we paid for???? TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT.

To sum up I really do not recommend this local for having a party!! A lot of money, really bad conditions.

NEW YEAR PARTY 2020

The whole experience was so bad , starting with the personal’s attitude and ending up  with the quality of food , i have no words to describe the total mess . You totally couldn’t get a taste, the food  not fresh at all , it seems to me like the one you get it at the hospital, the bottles of alchool were unsealed . We have paid a sum of money ,and we all wanted to be ok ( to have the minimum conditions), but we are so far to fell that.  We were a group of people , and the manager thought he could cheat us all . TOTAL DISASTER!

New year eve’s

We stayed at this place for 1 night and everything was disgusting. The room is damp and moldy. The wallpaper is peeling off, the windows are broken and the breakfast is a disgrace. In the bathroom the walls are molded and it looks like it wasn’t washed in a while, we had hair in the shower. Our room had 2 small windows one of which was broken and we had to fix it closed with a pin. The wallpaper is peeling of everywhere and in every corner there is a spider web. We didn’t have a sheet on the bed and at 1 AM i went down to ask for a sheet an they gave me 2 douvet sheets one for single and one for a double bed and I used that ... The AC is manual and you either have to leave it on during the night and freeze or you can shut it down and boil because it doesn’t have a remote control. The breakfast consists of cold cheap bought from the corner shop dishe. The photos that they put on the site are probably from the time they’ve opened the place but they’re not current.
The staff is very nice and the best attribute of the place are the cats that roam around the place and are super cute.

Horrible 

Casa cu Tei is the most disappointing restaurant in Craiova. The kitschy pseudo-baroque interior goes along with the service which is far from being gold as well. An incredibly unfriendly waitress let us wait for more than an hour for a salad and some bruschetta and she was so bad at waiting tables that a used knife fell from the plate on me - she didn’t even apologise. The vinegar put on the table for dressing was actually used as the restaurant’s fly trap - yummy indeed!
There’s only one advice to sum it all up: Do not go!
