Good, clean 3 star hotel. Room was a decent size, walking distance to city centre, not busy neighbourhood. Would recommend.

Good value

We have a very good experience in this hotel. Clean, quet and very close to historical town center. The personal and room service are also respectful and helpful. All rooms have LCD TV, minibar and free wi-fi. Bathrooms are clean and 100% functional. We'll give it 5 stars and we will recommend it to our friends!

3 relaxing nights!

We spent one night in the location (a group of 6 families, so we occupied almost the entire vila). Clean, nice position to visit the city center, comfortable rooms - I stayed in the apartment, good food, free parking, and nothing to dislike! Also, close to the park... Highly recommended.

Best place to visit the city center

I stayed at this hotel for 13 days in July. It is a budget hotel, quite close to the city center (15 minutes by foot, 5 minutes to the tram/bus station and then a 5 minute ride or a cab ride for about 2 € - make your choice). It is also 5 minutes walk from the central park which has a lake with boats and a restaurant and lots of open air activities for small and big.
The hotel is in fact a converted villa on the board of the Somes river right across the football stadium and the new sports complex. The park and the bus/tram station are also on this side of the river.
My room (single) with en-suite toilets was at ground level, by the reception. It was simply furnished - bed (very comfortable), table, chair, wardrobe and TV. Very clean.
Breakfast was a simple affair - cold-cuts, bread,cheese, tea, coffee, milk, yogurt, occasionally tomatoes, honey and cereals.
The staff (2 wonderful ladies working alternately) took care of everything from cleaning to tending the dinning room at breakfast and even doing personal clothes washing on demand. Otherwise the hotel seemed to be on autopilot - nobody at the reception. To pay I had to ask for the manager/owner who as I deducted, lived not far away.
In the evenings there was a person present until 1 am.
At the entrance there is a small terrace with a couple of tables and chairs  - ideal in the evening for a drink or for smokers to take their coffee with a cigarette.
The courtyard serves as parking for about 5 cars.
The hotel has 8 rooms and it seemed to be fully booked throughout my stay mostly with locals.
As I saw from the open doors of some rooms during cleaning there is a choice of single, double and triple bed rooms.
To resume I warmly recommend this establishment for the budget conscious traveler.

Excellent budget hotel

Up to date facility, friendly owner and staff. Very pleasant and quiet. Close to the city centre you could walk if you wanted to but cabs are cheap. Well organized. The owner speaks very good English. Highly recommended. I think it's great value for the money.

Great service, clean, friendly and close to the city centre

The room was very nosy even though I specifically asked for a silent room. No room service for the 3 days stay, although I was leaving the room at 2-3pm, they could've asked or checked.
