Unprofessional and rude staff, poor location in industrial area, lack of a lounge where to spend the evening with friends, they basically for is to use the lounge, poor quality food, rooms are basic, facilities broken, old AC system not functional well. Staff Elena Sava and her boss Rares Paun were rude and said “good you won’t come next time, as we won’t receive you anyway! “

Horrible experience!

Very nice and quiet place surrounded with trees and grass. Very kind and helpful staff. Spent few weeks, was a great experience. There is a dog thats something like greeting everybody who passes then goes to sleep in bush or in the middle of the road.

Nice hotel outside the city .Check In was smooth. Room size was comfortable.Airconditioning in the room was very poor. When we contacted they adjusted the same but again we found it to be poor. Breakfast was good.

Nice hotel

The location is in an industrial area for who is amateur of such a view, I got the room on the top floor although the hotel was absolutely empty, on departure .. although it was Monday .. the empty hotel .. 12.30 am .. I was called by  at the reception to release the camera and deactivated my card!

Bad experience

This hotel does not deserve the 3 stars and its name of « lux » or maybe check the meaning...

The first step in the hotel room was like entering in an oven. It was so hot that we couldn’t stay more than 5min (around 35 degrees). I couldn’t make the AC working so I call the reception and the lady said that there is maybe a problem and that she’ll find another room. After 10min I decided to get back to the reception because we felt really sick in this room because of the heat. 
The lady told me to wait and that she’s going to check the room because she didn’t trust me. After 2min I went back to the room to see if she was there (she wasn’t). Then back to the reception she said that it’s the same with other rooms because the AC if off in the whole hotel because of the time of the year. (20 degrees outside) so only the heat is working. 
I answered that she wasn’t in the room because I was there and then she changed her mind and said she was in the room next to. (I still don’t know why) 
So she said that she talked to her boss and it’s the same in the whole hotel and that she doesn’t have twin room anymore anyway so I’ll have to deal with it. 
I got really upset and after insisting for long minutes and after she told me to go to another hotel and that they won’t charge me for the room (which was fake because I saw it on my bank account the day of check in and after saying that I will go to the police because it is not normal, she decided to check again and by magic she found a twin room with a normal temperature. 
So it was lie lie and lie. Also we realized that the floor of our new room was empty. There was only us. 

I really would like to understand why they did not give us another room at first time instead of lying many times. 

But the room was good, nice bathroom. The spa was okay. Stem room wasn’t working. I work in hotel industry and even if you have a beautiful hotel, the staff is even more important and for this I won’t recommend this hotel... 
What a shame !

Lying to customers

Very very nice room, the location is a bit outside from downtown but in 10-15 minutes you are there. 
The reception guy was very friendly and gives us nice tips for what to see in town and we're to  eat Romanian food 
The breakfast was ok , normal breakfast nothing wow, the wifi was slow maybe because we had the room on fourth floor 

I recommend definitely this hotel for business travelers, is very nice.

Nice room

This is a good hotel in Brasov, situated about 8km from the City centre. Double rooms are quite smaller compared to UK hotels, internet speed is a bit slow. Parking facilities available. Staff were really friendly. 

Good Hotel in Brasov, value for money.

This a nice, new hotel suitable for business trips or events. Located at the outskirts of Brasov, on the premises of a former huge communist industrial area whose ruins one can still notice all around. Rooms are simple but comfortable, nicely furbished and very very warm (essential for the weather in Brasov). They also have a nice spa with a large jacuzzi, steam sauna and dry sauna. A very relaxing place. 

Location, however, is rather poor and one needs a car if staying there. Receptionists could use some training in being more polite, smiling and obliging. They seemed not to enjoy their job.
