Arrivia Bed & Breakfast

Located close to the railway station. Old buildings in the centre od Lodz looks dangerously because of age but everything inside is renovated. Once you enter the building you forget about its old front wall. Staff is friendly and create great, cosy atmosphere. For me it was like at home. Very friendly people. They let me leave my huge heavy backpack even I was too early to log in my room. They just let me leave it to help me. Wow. It was very friendly. Clean room. Although I had a room with a huge bath - no stinky smell from pipes. Delicious breakfast. What I like the most? Multicultural guests. Sitting around the table with people from Germany, USA, Israel and eating. Speaking English will be useful but the staff is Polish so you can just comunicate with them. Only Kraków during summer festivals is so multicultural. Arrivia is a great place to stay. it seems to me that it used to be a great flat and rooms for guests are organised in previous rooms of this flat. Rooms are not very separated. It wasn't built as a hotel, I think. That is why you stay there in your separate room but you still hear people going to the nerby kitchen from their rooms. I didn't meet there any family with small children but in such a case I would definitely hear everything. I also think that loud sex is inappropriet is such a place. You are not completely anonymous. And you will meet everyone in the common kitchen in the morning. All in all- great, lovely, multicultural place to stay. And so close to the station! (200 metres?)
