Contacted hotel directly because Trip Advisor does not have a phone number. I found the hotel’s contact info on Facebook which listed a cell as well as a landline number. At first no one answered either number. Eventually a man answered the cell phone. He quoted me P1800 / night for a room for 2 people. I told him that Trip Advisor listed P1530 and the hotel’s Facebook page listed a special (P1400 / night for 2 people). The man told me he wasn’t aware of the Facebook listing and said he’s quoting me the price from their website. I thanked him and ended the call. I then sent a message through Messenger which was answered by Camille who quoted me a price of P1500. She eventually gave me the Facebook price. Camille turned out to be very helpful during our stay and even found us a spa!

There was no one sitting at the front desk when we arrived after lunch. We rang the bell 3 times. After a couple of minutes I walked towards the back of the reception area and found a man sitting in front of a computer. I had to say “Excuse me!” twice to get his attention. This is the same man I spoke with over the phone. His name is Clyde. He was not at all welcoming. No smile. Dry personality.  I later learned he’s one of the managers. I saw him again the following morning. No “Good morning!”, no smile. Apparently breakfast is served from 7:00 - 10:00 which Clyde did not tell us. 

The hotel room itself is very ordinary. Amenities are a bare minimum. Room and linens have a musty odor. The hotel is 6 kilometers from Lucap Wharf, about an ₱80 tricycle ride.

Less Than Satisfactory

There are no resorts to speak of in Alaminos; the city is a transit city serving Pangasinan, Ilocos, and Zambales so it's mainly transient houses and small inns and hotels. We just want to be close to the 100 Islands wharf and town this served the purpose. The pick up point for the boats was five minutes away from hotel.

The rooms are basic and small but it did the job even with the small air conditioner. We just ate at the local Jolibee and some local restaurants down the street. We used this as our home base for a night while doing the island tour. the staff service was adequate since we just availed the room and nothing else.

Basic room near hundred islands, it served the purpose

We book here just for the night so we can have full day at 100 Islands. the hotel is very basic but right on the wharf so it's good enough just for sleeping. We ate at Maxine Restaurant, the only decent looking food place with a view. For the price, this is what you get for less than 2000 pesos so we did not expect anything but a clean room with air conditioning. good for the budget.

Stayed at the hotel recently and the amenities are incomplete. No towel provided, no tooth brush and toothpaste as well. Its not a good value for what you paid unlike other hotels I've stayed that are more affordable with complete amenities. 

The hotel is kinda old. It has free breakfast but the food is just so so. Again, not a good value for your money. The wifi is a little bit slow. It couldn't even reach our room which is located on the 1st floor. 

The only good about this hotel is that staff are nice and its located near restaurants and the main city. It is just 1 tricycle away. The aircon is working too!

Not a good value for your money

Varying reviews for this hotel. Looks like this hotel was one of the top places to stay during the "heydays" - fast forward to current date - the hotel furnishings are average, rooms okay, the beds creaky(do not jump, I mean if you have kids - the bed frame will crack), surely needs an uplift. The staff is friendly and always available on call. Overall I would say a decent stay - no frills, no regrets but surely they have lots of area to improve upon.
