5 reviewsHighly recommend. I stay there 2 nights with my friend. We found this place being leaded by a woman that we met on the bus station. She was selling tourist attractions, trips all over. We didn't trust her at the first moment. Tried to find a hotel we went to the main square to the Golden Hotel. We almost pay for the room and flight over Nazca lines when Austrian guy came very angry telling the story, that he paid in that hotel, to the same guy $150 and on the same plain for absolutely same service somebody paid $65 only. He told us not to make any business with them. We were confused, but the owner of the hotel helped us. He disappeared for a long time, so we took our backpacks and just walked out. We were surprised seeing Maria outside. First we asked her for some advise to find a hotel. She walked with us to Via Morburg, which is a backpacking hostel, but I would say, it's not any worst then any hotels we stay during that trip. Rooms are big enough, with showers. Clean. Wonderful patio with lots of flowers and plants. Stuff was friendly and helpful. I needed battery charger, while I lost mine on the way from Lima to Nazca. The guy who works there decided to go with me to the store, because was dark outside and not safe enough for a woman to walk the street. I was really positively surprised! He show us restaurants in the neighbourhood, and we felt over there very well, safe, expected, just great! We also bought tickets for the Nazca lines flight from Maria and the trip around Nacsa with wonderful and exciting dunes safari. If you go there, I highly recommend to stay in that hotel.
