Beautiful and peaceful hostel with the best staff thats help you with tours and collectivos if you wanred to go alone!! So much siteseeing to do in the local area. Super hot shower in a big bathroom!! Beds were super comfortable and I would definitely stay here again 

Beautiful hostel

I will let the WhatsApp pics speak for itself. 

 The bottom line is after a 17 hour journey. I was reassured that I could come in after midnight to check in as you can see by the pictures.  But, when I arrived, nobody answer the door nor did anybody answer my call or responded to my WhatsApp text. I waited around for 15 minutes and left.

The receptionist finally contacted me as you can see in the pic.  But, I had already left to a better service hostel.

The pics depict the situation and cannot be disputed.

Disappointed

It’s a new building with clean and comfortable rooms (we had a double with bathroom). Lots of hot water, warm and comfortable bed. The roof terrace with kitchen gives a great view of the town. Friendly staff.

Only slight negative was the noise from the cockerel every morning :)

Clean, friendly, comfortable

I stayed in the four person dorm in this hostel and it was very nice, clean bathroom, comfy beds, hot shower and good breakfast. José and Rosie where very welcoming and friendly and helped a lot with nice tips and organising my stay. I would recommend this place to everybody!

Amazing hostel

Very nice decoration  in lobby stairways, rooms ,bathrooms ,  very very clean , great beds, great atmosphere, great location . Great Hot showers with very good stream . Nice people, Many  good advice about tours .   One of the best places i have stayed in peru .

Good experience

This accommodation deserves all of the 5 reviews. The owners Jose and Donna take great interest in making you feel welcome and comfortable. Everything was if quality and super modern and clean. Breakfast was tasty and generous. The rooftop terrace offered great views. Jose offers tours and is extremely knowledgeable about the area. His English is great. Although called a “backpacker” accommodation this is really a wonderful boutique hotel. Don’t hesitate, stay here!

Home away from home

This hostal was fantastic. Most staff can speak English and they were able to sort many different tours and activities around the city. Their breakfast is fantastic and they have immaculate rooms. Great place to stay for a few days while planning your next move. Plus, the upstairs has great views of the city and surrounding mountains.

Great spot to recollect

This hostal is a jewel! A bit of a hike up 4 blocks but the view of the city is spectacular! Rosibell Tuesta and Jose Santillan took really good care of us and the owners Jose and Donna were very welcoming and they owned a great tour company Tour Explorers in the main Plaza. Super reliable and good prices

Come to Chachapoyas!

I had a very pleasant stay, the hostel is very clean and they have a nice breakfast. The people are very friendly, speak English and can help you book tours in and around Chachapoyas. I enjoyed my time there and will definitely come back sometime :)

Beautiful Hostel in Chachapoyas

Very good hot showers. Comfortable beds. Spacious and clean. Good information available: they do not push you to buy a tour, but provide options including how to do things by yourself. They have a guest computer. Location is excellent (two blocks from the central market, three blocks from Plaza de Armas). Very friendly helpful staff.

Disliked · TV screen in the dorm room, disturbing quietness.
The doors do not have handles, so many people slam the doors when they open or close them.
