The day before my coming, I was informed by e-mail that no one would be here to greet me but their neighboor, who did what he could, but barely spoke English. I was also told very late that it was cash payment, which is very annoying in a place that doesn't have any ATM... I had to drive quite far to get some cash... There's really poor lighting, the house is a dark place. The bed was dirty and of course no linen. The worst though was the bathroom : awful smelling toilets, which are pit toilets, not flush, and non-drinkable water with an awful smell of metal, and which stained the shower badly (disgusting brown stains, probably iron). The water was so smelly, I didn't even take a shower on the second day... my sweat smelled better. And in the kitchen half the knobs on the drawers were gone, the cooktop was dirty and greasy. In the living room, one bulb was dead, one lamp has its wire cut, poor smoke evacuation from the stove, the smoke filled the room, flies everywhere, dead and alive. Oh and parking there is tricky, with the road leading to the cabins unsealed and rough, often with Highland cows refusing to move on the road. 

They're nice isolated wooden cabins, but in poor conditions, and the owners don't seem to care very much. I booked this because it was very cheap for Norway (hence the 2 stars instead of one), but it's not worth it.
