85 reviewsReviews Paradiso Several of our family were in Nelson for our niece's wedding and stayed at Paradiso for two or three nights. It was a great place to stay - the rooms are clean and well set up with a well equipped little kitchen area, a comfortable big bed, lots of mirrors, and a large bathroom with a nice deep spa bath. WiFi is good (must have been fixed). The fridge is quiet and there's an iron and ironing board in each room (important when preparing to go to a wedding!). Breakfast is a help yourself affair in the adjoining backpackers. There is also a pool and spa over there. There's also a resident blackbird who sings his heart out on the roof each day. The area is quiet and residential but you can walk to town. All of us enjoyed our stay at Paradiso.
