We enjoyed our stay at Rolleston House, especially the friendly and helpful staff...Vanessa, Bonnie and Nick!  Great location, kitchen and TV area. Thanks again guys for a super stay,  Russ and Freddie.

I really enjoyed my stay there.
First I stayed 1 night, next time 3 nights and last time 9 nights. The location is perfect, clkse to Hagley Park/Botanic Garden and still direct in the center. Many thanks also to Bonny and Cristina.
Besides the Hostel is clean and safe.

good location and staff

So I’m going through something bad right now and I accidentally booked a room that I couldn’t sleep in. I booked the same room the next night and the lady working in the reception (I didn’t catch her name) listened to me and managed to get me a free night. She was there for me and told me to just talk to her if I needed anything at all. I’m so thankful and she definitely made all of this a little less painful. The room was perfect and the wifi was really good. This might be an odd review but I just wanted to say thank you.

I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of my New Zealand trip.  I found that the hostel was very spacious with a massive kitchen and dining area which was awesome. It is in a good location and you can walk to most areas of the city from there. Thanks for a good stay :)

Good location and clean hostel

So I stayed here and the loacation is fantastic, opposite Botanical Gardens, but not only great location Bonnie on reception helped me save time and money with yha card and information about Local events ... thanks again. Yha and Bonnie
