There is little I can say that was not excellent at the hotel. Loved the decor, everything was comfortable and the place is very dog-friendly, a major plus for me.

Very comfortable hotel, clean, lovely little balcony. We wish we could have stayed a bit longer

Want to return

Lovely one night stay with my wife in this restored old warehouse along the old port of Harlingen. It was an extreme windy day/night with the gusts causing the building to tremble. Very spacious and well equipped room including nice bathroom. The reception is in another hotel at some 100 metres down the road, also breakfast is served there. Very nice and well positioned in the old centre.

Excellent location with access to many restaurants and cafes; hotel thoughtfully provided a walking tour map so we took advantage of that and were lucky to happen upon a 17th century re-enactment complete with marching pipe and drum group.  Our room was very comfortable with multiple window options to catch a cool breeze (and a fan, which we did not end up needing). If you arrive on a Saturday afternoon your parking will be free after 800P until 900A on Monday morning. That was a nice surprise.


Harlingen Pleasant Surprise

Stylish room in in a historic building. Very conveniently located near the town centre, in a quiet location overlooking a canal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Fabulous

Really good hotel, comfortable, clean. Location was great too, close to transport links

Checkin was not good.  We initially responded to a request in my email to checkin on line… I tried and kept getting sent back to the same page over and over…gave up.  And so we hoofed it down to the end of the block, took a while for someone to acknowledge our presence and with quite a bit of indifference we finally got QR code to the hotel.  Hoofed if back down the block to the hotel and found a very unhappy couple trying to check in ahead of us who could not get the computerized door lock to work, they gave up and actually were so frustrated they decided to stay somewhere else.  We tried to get the lock to work and gave up also… we hoofed it back down the block to the check in at the restaurant where a different person called a third person and after a lengthy conversation walked back down the block with us and finally got the electronic lock to open on his forth try….. all this walking up and down the block was in the rain… and when we finally got into our room  it was freezing cold, no heat … pretty bad checkin took over and hour and we were very wet and very cold
