We stopped in after a long day in Amsterdam and this place was perfect. We sat on the patio as it was a nice evening. The service was good and the food was great. There was plenty to choose from on the menu but I was interested in only one thing, a good burger. I do recommend you tell them how you would like your burger cooked as I noticed in Europe they are not cooked to the same level as in Canada.

Great Patio

We visited the restaurant several time over during our business trip (we didn't stay at the hotel) and honestly all time the service was pretty bad. You are ignored mostly and if you ask a server to be served the answere was: my colleague is responsible for us. We waited 20min just to be sked what to drink, didn't receive a card and had to ask extra for one. Only one of our meals arrived and had to ask for the other. More waiting and getting ignored.... then the food came without knife and fork.... in the end i stood up and got the knife myself. Staff (one very kind guy excluded) wasn't all that kind. All together we didn't feel welcomed. we came back again, because everyone can have a bad day but the service stayed bad. The food was very good though! so compliments to the kitchen :) dont go there for a quick meal !

Dont go there if your hungry...

On a sunny saterday we deceided to get a small lunch at Anno! We wanted to sit outside, but it took a lot of trouble to get pillows for the chairs. The personnel found it to much work to put them outside and finally all customers had to get their own pillows. After waiting at least half an hour, had to go inside to order some food, ( and we weren't the only one)! After finally getting our food, we had to wait another 15 minutes for a knife and fork. I must say the food was good! Paying for our food was another problem. Once again, I had to go inside to pay after waiting another 15 minutes for someone to bring me the bill.
A lot of people were complaining about the service, and I don't know if I will go back there!!!

Alright food, but really bad service!

First the good bits, good location 2 minutes walk from the centre station through the shopping precinct.Lovely friendly staff ,from arriving to leaving staff always smiling or laughing.Breakfast continental and not to bad.
Now the bad bits room was so hot no a/c had to leave door to balcony open 24  hrs.No fans available,or safes and as it was a hot week was unbearable trying to sleep!!!
The website warns you about the noise from the nightclub till 4am so it was expected however it was noisy till nearly 6am due to noisy revellers throwing up etc.We didn't sleep well for 6 nights.
Now for the shower, access to which was through a gap 10 inches wide which was near impossible  for a big bloke like me,once sqeezed in the pressure was poor. Hotel rooms basic towels small ,tea tray not replenished.
All in all cheap hotel you get what you pay for nice staff but really glad to get home to a firm bed with decent pillows and a great shower.

Triathlon weekend

Hotel is location is central but the nightclub noise can be heard in the rooms above until 5am ish! It is horrendous at the weekends as it is so noisy! I felt I was in a beatbox, no exaggeration! The breakfast choice was limited to a boiled egg and some bread for you to toast. The rooms are very basic with ‘chrome cast’ tv………whatever that does as it never worked!

Very bad experience!

The worst costumer service ive seen. Wesat in the terrace and waited to be attended. It took a while. We finaly ordered a beer, a wine, and a glass of water. Beer was warm. And the glass of water never came so i went to ask for it myself because my girlfriend really needed a glass of water. I went to the bar next to the bathroom. I asked the BLOND WAITRESS for the glass of water and she gave me this ridiculously tiny glass of water. A JOKE. i told her if she could give me just a normal glass of water, that we were custumers sitting outside. She said that i had to buy a bottle, and i told her that was absurd, that we were costumers and we were gonna be ordering drinks.she said she didnt have bigger glasses so i pointed a bigger glass at her and she said:well here you have the glass, you can change the water from the tiny cup to the bigger glass yourself. I was shocked. I told her if she could put water in it. She poured the glass and i told her if she could fill it with more water. She said it was the hotel policy and she couldnt do that. She filled it a bit but not entirely.THIS HAS  NEVER HAPPENED TO ME IN MY LIFE. SHE WAS VERY RUDE, AND THIS POLICY IS JUST ABSURD.

WORST PLACE.DONT GO THERE

Nightclub went on until 05:15! Was so loud and the rooms are only one floor above the club. Our room was awful, no batteries in tv, once we had batteries we realised the tv didn’t work at all, the kettle was rusty inside, the bedding wasn’t changed once during our 5 day stay. The bathroom was dark, the balcony was about 12inches wide. 
Awful hotel room, hotel location fine but wouldn’t stay again.
