We were initially unsure about this campsite but on exploring, we parked at campsite 9 and had a stunning spot with fantastic views. The private bathroom and washing facilities were great. We didn't pre-order food so catered for ourselves and enjoyed the fire!

It was such a pleasure to arrive at this beautifully situated camp after a long drive. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The safari tents were very private with a lovely outlook. The pool, hammocks, sunset walk and food were great

Best campsite we've been in Namibia...actually one of the most beautiful places we've been while there. Stunning views, very remote and private but with good services. 
great area to chill out in the pool and by the bar, incredible set up for the dinner (which incidentally was ne of the best we had there).

This was such a nice surprise when we arrived there.  It is located in a beautiful area on the way to Twyfelfontein  with granite outcrops, and the tents are tucked away with great outlooks and cute outdoor bathrooms.   Reception, the bar, and the pool area is very inviting and charming in a basic way. The managers are there to assist where they can.  Forget all the luxuries and amenities in the luxury lodges and enjoy the nature and simplicity of the basics of being out in the bush.  It's one of the places where we wished we could have stayed longer to unwind.

Camping site in the middle of rock hills. Superb views. The site is very well decorated, vintage style, large camping places isolated from each other for the most, with lots of trees to protect you from the sun, make your own fire to heat the shower and cook your food, shower while watching the stars. Climb on the rocks to watch the sunset and the marvelous scenery and in the morning, start our one day drive to track the desert elephants with Joseph, a nice, pleasant, humble savvy guide, who can thrill you with stories about the animals, but also the plants and people. You end up watching and following a heard of elephants and cannot believe your eyes. THANK YOU JOSEPH!

Brilliant place with great hosts, food and relaxed poolside vibe but the best thing about Madisa Camp is the chance to see the desert-adapted elephants. It means an early start and a chilly, bumpy drive but it is worth it to get so close to these amazing animals. Joseph, our guide, was brilliant and we felt completely safe even though the family were obviously serious about protecting the small baby.
The facilities and food are good, don't miss out on enjoying a dinner of brai or potjie amongst a jumble of rocks under twinkly lights and a beautiful sky.

This was a great experience. The facilities are great although do not expect luxury. The location and experience make up for any discomfort . The staff were excellent and the Manager and his wife could not have been more helpful . We went on an Elephant tracking trip which was fantastic and our driver and guide, Carlos, was very knowledgeable and a great asset to the organisation.  

Wonderful campsite with lovely facilities. Toilet and shower secluded in the trees. Petrus took us on a 7 hour elephant tracking safari where we had the most amazing elephant interactions. He was a wonderful guide and would highly recommend.

Our family stayed in the tented camp, which was a great experience.  Showering under the stars was a higlight and the family site is private and very comfortable.  Food was great and the service was wonderful.

One of the most beautiful campsites in Namibia! We had pitch number 1 with our own shower and toilet. The pitch was very spacious and you have a fantastic view over the rocks. And it is super quiet. We woke up at night to a giraffe eating from the tree!
Very friendly and helpful staff. A nice swimming pool with sun beds made of pallets. The food was prepared on Mopane wood and was very tasty, the cook also told us about the food with pride. From Madisa you can make an excursion to the elephants. We did, with a guide who tells you a lot about nature and shows you the most beautiful places and also knows exactly where we can spot the elephants. He consulted with local people and knew where the elephants would go. We were able to see elephants from very close by. I really recommend this trip.
Keep in mind that you can't pay by credit or debit card at Madisa camp.
