The place was wonderful.  Very nice and clean rooms with private bathrooms. They served us dinner that was delicious. And the hosts were very kind and accommodating, always making sure we were happy and content. I would Recommend staying here 100%.

Great hosts, great spot

we had a very nice dinner at the riad on our way to the tour for the Merzouga desert. The sky is beautiful and clear, surrounded by nature. we had a three course dinner in their outside area, all for ourselves, listening to the sound of the river and nice background music. The staff was very friendly and prepared me a vegetarian dish when I requested. I have zero complaints :)

Special dinner at Riad Atlas Berbere

This place is a hidden gem in the Dades Gorge. Operated by small berber family, the owner went above and beyond ensuring our stay was enjoyable. He greeted us with team & cookies when we arrived, made us dinner and gave us good tips for visiting Dades Gorge. After we left, my friend realized he forgot his travel charger and the owner offered to send it to him to Merzouga with no extra charge. Definitely recommend to stay when you visiting this beautiful place.

Amazing stay in Dades Gorge!

The views from the bedroom window were spectacular, we looked right out onto the river and gorge walls. The bedrooms were clean, comfortable, and authentically decorated. The shower had limited pressure but was nice hot!

The staff went above and beyond, even driving us down the gorge for free when we couldn't find a shared taxi. The breakfast was included and a large serving. We ate dinner with them because it was a reasonable price and it turned out to be amazing. We highly recommend the Moroccan soup and the first tanjin on the menu (eggs, chicken, and tomatoes and veggies), was delicious!!!

Unlike other places, they offered advice for independent hiking. The location of the hotel is amazing. It is a bit of work to get up the gorge but it is totally worth the effort. We ended up hitch hiking from the bottom but we believe you can catch a shared taxi from the town at the bottom.

This is a must stay place if you are planning to come to the valley.

This hotel is situated in a great location in the gorge with great views from the rooms. The photos definitely dont do it justice.  You can walk directly from the hotel through the gorge.  The rooms are simple but very clean and comfortable.  The food is delicious and you get a choice of what to eat. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We would love to stay here again. 

Absolute gem in a great location

The hotel is on the road, very close to the gorges. Rooms are really nice and simple, the food is fantastic and all prepared by the owner. It seems to be guest of a family with very good quality of service.
They have a beautiful garden on the river where you can have your meals.
Price is really convinient, I really suggest to everybody visiting Dades valley to stop here!

Best place in Dades vally

The owner and all the stuff are very nice and helpful. The best breakfast in the area. We looked around the area for other places, and this was  not only the cheapest but also the most beautiful. So in conclusion The cheapest and the best place to stay.

The best place to stay in Gorge Dades

Before reading this review, one must know that we were traveling in february. Which is low season in Dades. There are very few tourists and we stayed in this guesthouse alone for one night and together with one other couple for one night. Because of this the atmosphere was a bit quiet. Due to the time of year the hostel became really, really cold after sundown. All this made me think the hostel was 'okay'. BUT!

But the owner made me give this guesthouse a 'really good'. Because he put A LOT of effort in making us feel warm and at home. We asked for a heater and we got one right away. Plus the offer to get as many as blankets from other rooms as we needed. The food is quite cheap and really delicious. During breakfast i asked for sugar. The guy thought in meant hot chocolate. A weird mix up, but the next day, without asking i got sugar AND hot chocolate :). In a lot of conversations the owner showed us he really wanted to make the best out of it for us. And that's great.

If you do go there a little tip; drive your car further uphill. After 6 km's you'll find a narrow red gorge, almost as beautiful as the todra gorge!
