I originally booked this place for four nights at $25 U.S. apiece, having a one-night reservation and then another for three nights. I found out I was going to be leaving in the middle night of the second reservation on a trip. There was no more availability so I asked if they could change my reservation from a three-night one to two different one-night ones. They refused. So I cancelled the three-night one and just stayed on the first-night one I had. That turned out to a be a good move. I arranged a pickup at the airport with WS Mongolia and they said they would have my name with a sign on it. Nobody bothered to show up to get me (they later said they were too busy since the national festival was going on). Fortunately, I was able to meet up with Mongolian Vision, a tour company affiliated with this outfit and they hooked me up with a taxi driver (it actually was $20, $2 less than I was originally going to be charged). The taxi driver gave me a ride to the guest house listed on my reservation. When I got there, they were apparently full and put me back in the cab and took me to dump called the Sunrise Hotel. They talked about how I was getting a private bathroom, rather than a shared one. But this wasn't the place that I had booked and was pretty much a dump hardly worth $25. I had ended up changing my second reservation for two one-night reservations at the Dream Hotel, and paid $40. But that turned out to be a very good move since the Dream Hotel was very nice and miles better than this place that I paid $25 for.
