This is a really nice place to stay in playa del carmen. It is great value for money. The hostess Caroline gave us very good dinner recommendations. Close to fifth avenue- the quieter end. We weren't there long enough to use the pool but it looked inviting! 

Good B and B 

My wife and I stayed here June 2015 for our honeymoon. We had a spacious master suite with walkin closet. Clean and comfortable; an incredible value. We never needed air conditioning. It was great to talk with Caroline each morning about our plans for that day and get her perspective. She had helpful recommendations for us. Breakfast was very basic (toast, fruit, and tea) but a nice convenience to get the day started quickly. The place is in a good location, walking distance to nice restaurants and shops on Quinta Avenida and good, inexpensive, less-touristy places too.

Caroline went out of her way to make our honeymoon special. I asked her to collect some local treats, sparkling wine, and flowers (at a price, of course) for our arrival and she was happy to. She also coordinated with a mobile massage service (Paradise Wellness, highly recommended) to make sure they could accomodate (do not expect this; it only worked out because we were the only occupants at the time). She also gave us shampoo even though I think we were supposed to bring our own.

I think we were the first to stay at this location, so Caroline was still working some things out. Here are my recommendations for improving the place. Small things; none of them would prevent us from staying again.
-A label on each key (gate, front door, room, safe, others?); there were quite a few
-Get a better shower head; ours had some plugged holes
-Protein (e.g. eggs or meat) would be a nice addition to breakfast

Area Tips:
—Scuba is great for beginners at Playa del Carmen
—Alux restaurant, built in a dried-out cenote; at least get a drink there and walk around.
—Order alhambra de el pastor con pina and queso fundido at taquerias that are full of mexicans (El Charro was great)
—Eat a marquesita

Best Value: clean, spacious, good service

My daughter and I were in town for a wedding and were caught off guard by the change in location though it all worked out perfectly. The business has moved and is now located on the North side of town off North 44 Calle and 5th ave.  We were within walking distance to all of the shops, restaurants and clubs along 5th ave.as well as the beach.  The accommodation were simple, nice and affordable.... a room within a home with its own bath, balcony and use of a small pool.  Thank you Caroline; you were so kind and helpful during our stay. We felt at home, safe and comfortable.  We would stay there again.

We stayed at bed breakfastico for 4 days in march '15, and had a great stay! We're a young couple caring for both our comfort and our budget and we found the room very comfortable and clean. The b&b is well situated, in the calm residential playacar and very close to the beach. The villa is situated in a closed condominium with a shared pool and beautiful garden, right next to a golf. You wake up at the sound of tropical birds. The center of playa is 20min away by feet but Caroline will lend you bikes to get there in 5-10min, and the bike ride is really pleasant (bike lane). We were really glad of our choice! Plus caroline is very helpful and cool!

Great stay, good value and great hostess!

My wife and I did spent 12 days in Carolines Bed and Breakfast and we are so happy we did so. The place is silent, nice and with access to the beach and facilities at Reef Hotel. But most important it is runned by Caroline that helps,supports and is such a nice host. We come back and look very much forward.
