Stayed here with Acorn Family holidays in August 2022 and was looked after wonderfully by the lovely Janice and Isabelle. Lovely rooms, good aircon, kids loved the pool and the common areas to hang out - A great stay - Thanks all!

Marvellous place to say

We had a great stay in the Basecamp. Spent one week with the family of six. The house and rooms are very nice decorated. The atmosphare is like feeling home. The owners welcomed us heartfully and manager David was there the whole time and gave us great tips for restaurants, beaches and tours. St Julians is only 10 minutes by walk which is nice to go out for dinner. We will defintely come back. 

Vacation 

Great 5 nights stay in May, 2018.  We met David, the manager at Basecamp, and he was caring, sharing of his time & making sure the hotel met our expectations.  He went above & beyond & we made some new friends.  David could make that place a little gem given the chance.

A home away from home.

Stayed here for 1 week. Very well maintained, very clean and tidy. Proprieters are on hand as needed and couldnt do enough for us.
Central location and on the bus route.
Would highly recommend Basecamp for a budget stay in Malta and would definitely stay here again!

Great spot

The accommodation, although basic, is clean and tidy. The new caretaker David has a lot of great ideas for the accommodation that will take it from adequate to superb. The rooms are spacious, the living and cooking accommodation is also spacious and some of the teething problems are being addressed.
Would I stay here again....about to book for next November, so here we go Malta, see you soon.

Fit for purpose

Basecamp is in a good location, very close to the bus stop to get to the major towns in Malta and within walking distance of Paceville and St. George's bay and all the restaurants and bars with it. The supermarket 'Greens' is also within walking distance; good for getting supplies in to cook in the shared kitchen. It's even open on Sundays!

The swimming pool was clean and well maintained and we really enjoyed having this almost all to ourselves. This was the best part.

I don't mind shared accommodation and sharing fridge space is fine, but people here don't seem to respect this; a lot of our food and drink we bought vanished throughout our stay.
Note that the pool is in the shade until 3pm (can be cold before this) and next to the busy road.

Overall, a good place to stay for a summer adventure around Malta.
