Really enjoyed our stay at this place. Basic rooms with AC. Clean and perfect for the price.
The manager is super helpful and very nice. 
Food was good too. Would recommend this place.
Very close to the beach with good snorkeling. 
Easy access from the ferry to Genting.

Cheap, clean and nice staff

Stayed here for the weekend in a very comfortable deluxe room for six people. There are aircond and hot water that work well no problem. We really had a good sleep every night. The room is spacious! Spacious enough for a family of six to make three rows of jemaah prayer.

Dato Zaran and team went extra mile to make us feel at home, and we were so grateful. Every meal served (breakfast and bbq) was delicious.  Arrangement for island tour was not a hassle and we really enjoyed the snorkeling trip!

Warm hospitality and nice food

Ok, the rooms are nothing special but there is air con, hot water and tv. They have a lovely restaurant and only a meter from the beach. Perfect to watch the amazing sunset. The hosts Zaran and Alia are lovely helpful locals and did all they could to make my stay enjoyable, even organizing transfer to Tekek. Thanks so much 😄🌴

Meet My Expectation

We got an aircon bungalow for 3 nights. Don't expect glitz and glamour upon arrival but it was a decent bungalow. Very outdated place, but offered the bare minimums. Don't get the food there though! It was absolutely terrible and pricier than the other adequate and tasty stalls closer to the pier. Stay here for a semi-cheap bungalow but explore everywhere else for food throughout the island. 

It was an average experience

Wow. Weirdest check-in ever. Didn’t ask for our names or passports once. They gave us the key and didn’t bother to tell us where our cottage was. The room was pretty nice. A bit standard but good enough. The breakfast was not worth getting up for. It was a white bread with a toaster and that was all. Their service was really bad. There was no one around except for the evenings, where they karaoked the entire night. They say that they provide for a lot trips etc. but when we asked, nothing was possible. Why? No idea. They don’t clean the room or provide new towels in four days. For this price I expected a lot more (€30,- a night). For a little bit more, you can stay at a good resort. I wouldn’t recommend going to Kampung Genting either. The people were a bit unfriendly and there is nothing to do around here. There were only three restaurants and we even got send away because it was too crowded! Depends on what you’re looking for I guess.

Not even worth it.

I stayed for 3d2n here. We took a ferry from mersing jetty about 2hours. This chalet located at kampung genting. Initially everythings goes well. However nightmare started at 2nd day of our visit. There is no water until our last stay. It is very dissapointed stay. The crew provided a big tong for each chalet but the water is not enough. We request for compensate from the owner but no action. 

The accomodation is average with hot shower facility. The tv is small even it called flat one. No housekeeping from day one. The toilet cleanliness ok. No amendities. The food is tasty but not many choices. The bbq dinner is far from our expected due too very limited food. During our stay there are no electricity at day 1. At night, you only could find food stall around. But beach life just ended. Unable to walk at the beach at night. So dark. 

I heard this chalet is old but just take over by managent. I would like to say the food and the room is acceptable. But no go furing peak season or holiday. Not worthy with the price that you paid. 

I think alot of improvement shall be made. Next time prefer to try other hotel at kampung juara or salang.
