We were fortunate enough to stay at Kiangazi for a family friends wedding. Everything was incredible and I would not hesitate to recommend Kiangazi for such an event. The staff were extremely helpful and everyone had the most amazing time. 

Wedding 

This is a perfect place to relax and unwind. Well trained staff - all helpful and accommodating, and they serve great food. Definitely worth the visit. We love the place, people and hoping to visit the house again in the future.

We had the most wonderful stay. The staff bent over backwards for us. We had stunning game drives with sundowners. The view from the lodge is beautiful. Immaculate and delicious food. We loved it and would definitely stay again!

Beautiful views and cosy dinners next to a fire at night.

We stayed here as part of a wedding entourage. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and friendly. The chef Patrick is excellent and takes the time to explain the menu. Breakfast on the veranda is accompanied by a wonderful view over the game park. We’ll recommend wholeheartedly 

Fantastic place!

An utterly charming visit to this lovely colonial old home converted to a small lodging.  The game drive in the evening was superb.  Thoroughly recommend the Guide - Livingstone.  The cuisine was sublime.

Highly recommend this wonderful place!

The staff is superb. They treated us like family. The sundowner in the evening light and night game drives were so special. The food was amazing and the view amazing. Definitely great weekend trip with family.

Exquisite!

I arrived at Kiangazi House after a long and tiring (even though I wasn't driving!) road journey from Nairobi. The tiredness fell away on arriving at such a peaceful place and receiving a truly warm welcome. The staff were always smiling and were so considerate towards me as a traveller on my own. For most of my stay, I was the only tourist but care was taken that I didn't have to have my meals while listening to the only other guests who were having business meetings. My room was one of the 2 apart from the main building and had wonderful views of the sunrise and I enjoyed the early morning light watching the wildlife processing towards the waterhole. The food was excellent and the guide, Chris, was both informative and good company. Thank you all so much. It was a wrench to have to leave.

attentive service

Stayed at Kiangazi for three nights last week. Needed a place to refresh and get some creative work done. I had also been here previously with my family. It did not disappoint. It is a beautiful and serene piece of property.  I love the 'eat whenever you want and largely what you want'. Patrick the chef made sure to let me know what he had in mind and gave me the flexibility to make changes. Not that I needed to much as the food was excellent. Jakonayo ensured service was always on point for drinks, meals, fire and just about anything. Thanks to the managers Douglas and Clinton for the warm attention. Agreeing to accomodate a change to the wine list while I was there, upgrading the room etc and efficient handling of any issues that came up. They do a lovely sundowner in the sanctuary  and my  guide Christopher was amazing. All in all would recommend this place. Felt recharged after the stay.

 I would however suggest management relook at what they charge to enter the sanctuary especially for people already paying for accommodation at the house. It is way overpriced and especially  considering you are not going to see very many animals. I found it ridiculous to have to pay over Kshs 2,000 to simply drive through for a sundowner. 

Amazing place to recharge

I can only dream of going back to Kiangazi. 
Everything is beautiful.. the lovely location, beautiful weather, the place is very beautiful and feels like a dream home.. a colonial house which made us feel like Royalty. 
The manager was extremely good. 
The Chef Patrick was kind enough to cook special vegetarian Indian food for us . 
The evening Safari with the Sundowner was awesome... 
I would love to come back.. Exceptional 👌

Awesome 

This was a family holiday with 4 little kids, from the moment we arrived till we left, the service from ALL members of the Kiangazi Team was impeccable. The food was great, and they were able to cater to our many dietary requirements (mainly allergies and intolerances) without a hiccup. They were very accommodating to the children's eating hours and how the food should be prepared. The older kids also had a great laugh one of the afternoons with the chefs in the kitchen (not cooking), we loved to see their warmth with them.

The bush sundowner was great, and surprise s'mores for the kids who really enjoyed making them! On the second day, we opted for a bush breakfast instead of the sundowner which they were able to cater for it on our last minute request. This was definitely the highlight of our trip!

We had the rooms inside the house which really helped with having smaller children with us, but it also gave us very homely feeling. i recommend to stay either in 'Pelican' or 'Sacred Ibis' as these rooms were much cosier and comfy to stay in. I did feel 'Flamingo' needs some bedding upgrade as they were not comfy and we could not sleep properly at night. They changed our rooms for the second night to 'WoodPecker' and 'Weaver' (outside the house), these beds in these rooms were much better.

There are so many spots around the whole house that you can relax and enjoy the views of the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed the open spaces out in the lawns, and the deck overlooking the waterhole.

Definitely recommend anyone to stay here, and experience what this exquisite house and the team has to offer.
