Costa Marina Hotel & Suites

Right from the time we entered the hotel, it was a wonderful experience. The check in was a breeze. The receptionist was most helpful with suggestions on activities we could do during the day and helped us with all the required information. The best part of our stay was undoubtedly the response of the owner/receptionist when we asked him directions to an ATM. “I can give you money. You return tomorrow.” I mean -- who says that to an international traveller? :) Only Jordanians! When we insisted that we will walk to an ATM, he took out a map of the area and drew clear directions for us. That is trust and service at its best. The room was spacious and impeccably clean. There is a kettle, with everything you need to make yourself a fab tea/coffee. The linen was fresh, the bathroom was well provisioned. Breakfast was included -- the typical Jordanian spread of breads, cheese, olives, salads, meat, juices and tea/coffee -- but not lunch or dinner. There's a cute little pizza place called Dana's right outside, where we shared a rather nice pizza, seated out! The team also provide free drop to and pick-up from Berenice Beach Club, where we spent most of our time. The team also has tie ups with other beach/adventure parks in Aqaba, giving you good rates for their services. If our stay at Aqaba was a wonderful experience, it is thanks to the team at Costa Marina. We have no doubt in saying that if we were to land up at Aqaba again, this would be our first choice of stay.
