It was a cozy ryoukan. Foods and private hot spring pools were amazing. I am really satisfied. However, a heater in my room wasn’t that good. It has an internal fixed timer (3h) it automatically shuted down so I had to turn it on the middle of the night. That’s all. Everything except for this is perfect.

Very traditional Japanese ryokan in an onsen village, with its own 4 private onsen pools. 
Although the owners speak a little English, and there are explanations on onsen customs in English for those who need it, I would only recommend this ryokan for people who speak good Japanese and are familiar with onsen customs and Japanese ryokans. 
The atmosphere is very personal, quiet, and excellent for a romantic getaway for young or older couples. The food and drink is mainly traditional Japanese and superb. 
The two owners of this ryokan run the establishment entirely on their own: cleaning, cooking, ferrying guests to and from the rail station, and staffing the front desk. Therefore it is necessary to be a little flexible, and to take the experience a little like you are a guest in their home - which has a definite positive side too. There is no public transport from the village, but if you arrive at the right time, the owners can ferry you to and from the rail station by prior arrangement. Otherwise, you can find and call a local taxi firm, or arrive in your own vehicle. There can be a lot of snow in winter, they say. 
The village is beautiful and very small, in a north-facing valley. There are not the crowds of tourists you find in Yuzu, but the locals are very friendly.
