Petit Pension Yes No

We stayed this pension one day before climbing Mr. Ontake, which is almost 3000m high. It is located outside the town, thus we enjoyed the stay with fresh air and atmosphere. The food was excellent. All dinner menus were well prepared and cooked from the starters. The owner of this pension uses the local foods such as the vegetables and the river fish. There were many kinds of beers and wines from all over the world. The breakfast was great too such as the warm omlet and the soft bread. We enjoyed the great morning. Although the pension is a bit far from the town, it is worth to stay. We forgot to purchase the AAA batteries and then tried to buy these by driving a car over 30 min. However, the owner was looking for the batteries from his garage after his job and gave us these without any additional charge. I really appreciate his help because we were able to keep our energy before climbing Mt. Ontake over 3 hours at that day. In total, this pension was excellent with regard to the foods and the services. If you stay here, you will be able to have an experience in the rural Japanese area with the great food and the service.
