super helpful staff and great eclectic mix of local and international travelers. maybe not a family place but great for young energetics. Good value for price. Shared amenities were clean. Kitchen and computer availabilty a plus. Good location also. Arigato!

For the price, and the friendliness of the people, this is a great place to crash. I didn't have any problems with cleanliness, but the beds are quite hard, and there are a lot of people, so bring earplugs.

For my purposes (a place to sleep for a few hours before heading to a different location), it was fine.

Fun! Loved our stay.

Great for a place to crash.

There are a lot of friendly people here but I do not recommend if you want to have a nice sleep. Everything here seemed broke. But it is totally fine if you just stay for a few hours and you do not mind about the mess.

A lot of people but not recommend if you stay many days

... right after check-in until I could finally get out of this place. It looks like a jumble shop gone bad, so much stuff lying around and many things seem broken. The kitchen looks dirty and grimy.The place itself looks dirty and has a very bad smell, I was honestly afraid to touch anything. I am so glad I only had to stay one night, as the beds were incredibly uncomfortable and I did not feel safe at all. 
It's certainly cheep, and if you just need some random place to dump your stuff and lay your head at night you might be fine. Otherwise go stay somewhere else.

I was counting down the hours...

 10 minute walk to Miebashi station and a 5 minute walk to Tomari port. The hostel is incredibly dirty and messy. When you come in the door, you almost fall over hundreds pairs of shoes. I said in the female dormitory for one night and it was very uncomfortable. The bathroom was in a terrible condition, wouldn't recommend to have a shower. I'd recommend you to come here if you're only looking for a place to sleep and no more.
