Sunrise Inn

After a strong typhoon, our Hotel Le Ciel in Kaizuka has both their electricity and water supplies cut off. Left with no choice, we walked to this older Hotel in Kaizuka where we stayed for the next 4 nights. The kind hearted lady Boss here, upon hearing our sad story, upgraded our Twin room to a more spacious Triple room - with a King & a Single bed, all soft and very comfy indeed. The room has also a long leather sofa and round table. It was rather spacious and very comfy indeed. The assigned room, 401, though appeared dated and rough around the edges, was rather quiet though it faced onto the main road, the beds were very comfy and we slept pretty well here. TV was big and has many channels, free tea/coffee & microwave oven at the Lobby on 2nd floor. Washing machine (payable i think) is on the first ground floor. For breakfasts, it was cheap at 7++ yen per head and was cheaper than other Japanese hotels which we had previously stayed at but since we are no breakfasts people, we did not part take. Though the rooms here do mot enjoy free Wifi, they do have LAN and modems for rental. A minor gripe about the room is, of course, the mini sized bathroom with toilet attached. In addition, the minibar in the room was also very small indeed ... This hotel is an easy 3-4 mins walk from Kaizuka train station West exit, which is only 15 mins train ride to Kansai Airport and about 30 mins to Namba. Highly recommended to stay here!
