2 reviewsHighly recommended. Ishibuso is in the Izu Peninsula , needs a train journey from Tokyo followed by a local bus ride. You’re in the midst of true Japan countryside - rice fields, fruit orchards and a very very wild coast line. Oh, must not to forget to mention this is the place for hot springs . Locals are friendly with minimum spoken English but nothing beats a big smile and a bow . Our minshuku is just across the road from the beach, excellent home cooked food. If you like seafood this is the place for you.
