I've been to the Ishiba Ryokan in Winter 2016 and have unfortunately never given a review to this place. I'm sorry, Ishiba-San! It is very traditional yet homely, not too crowded, with comfortable futon beds and incredibly friendly staff. The owner showed us around in Hirosaki in perfect English, so we could really enjoy the local experience. I don't think there is a better place to stay in Aomori and to this day I think back to it.
