This is our third stay at Tsuru Apartments during the ski season. The location is very good, we find the short walk up to the gondola a perfect way to warm our legs before skiing, it’s close to restaurants, the Lawson mini market, great coffee shop (Ronin) and quite a walkable distance into town, just over 1km.
The apartment is clean and well equipped, furnishings are simple but comfortable and great for the price. Excellent Wifi. The kitchen has an induction cooktop, microwave and dishwasher. 
The owner Hiro is fantastic, he helped us with taxis, restaurant bookings, lift passes, transport to and from the bus drop off, and organisation of an urgent document delivery from Australia.
We will definitely be returning.

Great Ski Apartment

We stayed here recently as a couple whilst on a ski trip and loved apartment 9 upstairs with a view from the bedroom window. The host Hiro was lovely but some extra info in the rooms would be great. Where to eat, taxi number, where to shop and other attractions to see in the area. It is an easy walk to Seven 11 and a few restaurants as well as the gondola station. A longer walk to supermarkets but ok. Unfortunately the bed is very hard and extra pillows would be appreciated. We would definitely stay again

Excellent stay

Convenient two bedroom apartment, friendly and helpful host.  Excellent for family accommodation - I brought three kids on a Dad only trip.  Hiro-san provided timely shuttle services each day to the Furano ski area (Kitanomine is should open in a few days, but we’re off), and also provided shuttle to the supermarket in Furano town to stock up on essentials.  Walking distance to several restaurants, a Harro’s for ski rental, 7-11 for supplies and that all essential ATM.

The apartment itself is clean, nicely appointed, and spacious.  Internet is trouble free - good for Minecraft parties.

Would happily come back next season.

Nice apartment, helpful host

The 3 bedroom villa was great for my family of 7. Everything was very clean. The host was not the friendliest when we arrived early to try to check-in. But he did allow us to use the bathroom quickly and drop off our luggage. Later, he also moved all of our luggage to the villa in advance. Even though he doesn't smile, he does his job just fine. The one complaint I have about the place is the poor wifi in the morning and at night. During the day, in the afternoon, wifi is fine but I think when all guests are in their respective rooms and using wifi, then wifi at the villa just doesn't work. It was quite frustrating at times. Location was okay but you definitely need a car to get around Furano if you are staying here.

Beautiful villa in Furano

The house was big, wooden floor, well decorated and clean. There are parking space just in front of the house. 

The equipment in the house was great, gave us warm and comfortable stay, wish to stay there longer. Suitable for a group of 5-10 people with elderly, no steps or stairs.

The host was nice, recommend to buy melon from his restaurant as it not expensive and big.

Even thought the facilities are adequate, the owner is rude and impolite. Very poor location. Hot water was NOT provided throughout the entire stay, we had to pay extra (with our own money) for a shower in a nearby hotel. Rent this place if you hate hot shower. Friendly reminder, checkout time is 10am sharp.

Rude Host, Worst ever experience, Rent at your own risk

We stayed here for two nights as a base to explore the Furano Biei area. The one bedroom apartment we had is spacious, very clean, extremely well equipped and beautifully maintained. Hiro is an excellent host with good English skills (my Japanese is sadly minimal). He explained everything and was available if any help was needed. The location worked for us - we had a car and parking is provided. It is nearer the ski slopes than the main part of town, and there are some good eating places nearby. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed is very comfortable. The lounge area is large and comfortable. Excellent double lounge plus single seater, dining table. Comfortable bedroom.  The apartment has wash/dry machine, dishwasher, induction cook top, microwave, big fridge, and 3x plate settings. TV with English channels and good wifi. There is arisen and heating (we used neither at this time of year). One minor issue we had is that sunrise is super early in late June (3:45AM) and the dark blinds still let in a lot of light. No other complaints and I will be recommending this place to friends and will stay there again if returning to Furano.

Spacious, well equipped and maintained apartment

We recently stayed at Tsuru Apartment in Furano- we messed up our flight so a 5 day stay turned into 2 days
We flew Haneda to Asahikawa and caught the 5pm Lavender Bus to Furano so arrived in the dark- luckily I gave all the info to Hiro via email and he was waiting for us at the bus stop - we were so glad to see him - truly lovely hosts who goes all out to help you - speaks good English - told me he travelled all around Australia on a motorcycle years ago!
The Apartments are really nice and have everything you could need we only ended up with 2 nights but did a slippery ice run down to the 711 which is close by

Skiing was fantastic - hated having just one day to explore the slopes there
When it was time to leave we asked Hiro about bus or train connections to Tomamu our next stop  - Hiro gracefully offered to drive us for the same price as the bus which we gratefully accepted- much nicer having a private transfer than a bus!
Will come back with our son and stay again next year as we loved Furano loved Tsuru and Hiro 
Need to get in fast as Furano will change heaps in the next few years with a large luxury hotel being built and the Chinese buying lots of land to build hotels also
Right now Furano is a small Japanese Village full of character- not 4 much longer!
