Another great time spent at Marblue, and never a complaint.  We were a group of 9 this year, so had the property to ourselves.  The weather was fabulous and our hosts never disappoint.  Marblue has one of the best locations, sitting having coffee on your verandah looking out over the Caribbean Sea, life doesn’t get much better.  The property itself is lovely and the staff can’t do enough to make your stay enjoyable.  From the moment we arrived we were met and assisted with bags, getting settled, greeted with welcoming hugs, a few ground rules, and then were left to enjoy.  If we needed anything they were only a moment away, but you are left to enjoy your stay, whether it be a day around the pool or a walk to great bay, a boat ride to pelican bar, it’s yours to explore.  The property has full facilities if you wish to cook your own food, fridges for keeping your beer cold, and coffee makers in each room, so you are very self sufficient.  Great places to eat are only a walk away, so the choice is yours.  We will definitely return to Marblue and I know others in our group felt the same.  Andrea and Axel are wonderful gracious hosts, and we were privileged to be treated to a lovely dinner one night on the property, prepared and served on the patio around the pool,  Thank you again for a wonderful stay, looking forward to returning!

Marblue Magic

We had a fantastic week at Marblue Villa. We had 2 connecting suites, the Banana Water suite with its own plunge pool and kitchenette, and the Papaya suite next door, booked through Airbnb. It was a great value for the amount of space: 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms plus the sitting areas and verandas. Each bedroom has an A/C unit, which is an extra charge per room if you use it, to cover the high cost of electricity, but we prefer to sleep cool so it was great to have the option. (Note that they only take cash or PayPal for the A/C charge.) We thought this was a fantastic location: the beach to the east has a great swimming cove at the far end (in front of Seaweed Villa); Jake's and other restaurants are about 10 minutes walk to the west, across Calabash beach. Bring flashlights for walking at night. 

There are also a few places to eat closer: at Kingfisher Plaza is Gold Coast Cafe and beyond that, down the main road to the north, is Frank's Nice n Easy jerk place. Marblue offers meals for guests with prior arrangement. We did a boat trip with Captain Dennis to the Black River and Pelican bar, which was fantastic. Message him though Facebook, and reserve early because he books up. Jack Sprat's is a great place to spend time, with good, reasonable food, drinks, and a small beach. Frenchman's beach has Eggy's restaurant, a great place for garlic lobster and sunsets. 
The main pool at Marblue is decent sized, lovely, clean and has a view of the ocean through palm trees. It rarely had anyone else using while we were staying. There are many options for lounging at Marblue with a view of the ocean, both in the rooms, verandas, and on the pool terrace, plus hammocks between the palms. Bugs were minimal because of the wind and fans, but we did see some, and recommend bringing bug spray.   

Overall, Treasure Beach is fantastic, and Marblue is a great place to stay. We can't wait to return.

Best location, amenities, and value in Treasure Beach

My husband and I spent a week at MarBlue in the pineapple suite in December. It was our third visit to MarBlue, and as wonderful as the previous two visits. The hosts, Axel and Andrea, are experienced, warm and welcoming, and spend every effort to make their guests’s stay relaxing. They are knowledgeable about all kinds of wonderful activities I n Treasure Beach and the area, and will make arrangements for drivers, boat pilots, etc.,And the setting and furnishings are lovely! Highly recommend.

Magical place to spend time in Jamaica!

During our first trip to Jamaica we spent our last 9 days in Treasure Beach. When we arrived at Marblue Villa Suites we were happily surprised about the beautiful place (only a few meters.. sorry: I mean seconds to the beach). Marblue is so peaceful, calm and with an amazing oceanfront. We watched a few sunsets and because there were mostly no clouds we enjoyed watching the stars afterwards. 

We booked the Pineapple Suite, which was really, really big and on our arrival day we were warmly welcomed by Andrea and Axel. Ijah and Gloria did a pretty good job, too: While Ijah was our chef and served us nicely local food, Gloria cleaned everything in-depth and has taken care of our rooms. Andrea and Axel suggested pretty cool tours (Black River Tour, Ys Falls, Pelican Bar, etc) and both have a very good knowledge about local places and events. Everything they suggested was a great experience. 

The location is within easy walking distance to many restaurants, bars and small convenience stores. 

As written I would recommand Marblue Villa Suites 100% to all my friends and all people who want to visit Treasure Beach/Jamaica. I'm not yet sure about when my next visit will be BUT when I will be in Jamaica again, I'll surely visit Marblue, Andrea and Axel again!

Marblue Villa Suites - Always worth a visit!

We stayed in the papaya suite with the private chill pool for six days. Was so wonderful to be so close to the ocean. We had many dinners in our private kitchenette. The pool was awesome and right in front of the ocean for the best views.  Our villa was large and spacious and clean. The staff are wonderful especially Gloria and Matte. The owners Axel and Andrea were very accommodating and really wanted us to enjoy and have a great time. Looking forward to our next visit!  Love Jamaica 🇯🇲

Very relaxing and quiet

We chose to spend the final 9 days of our 16-day Jamaica vacation in Treasure Beach, because itˋs known to be so beautiful and still somewhat untouched by the big tourist waves flowing into Montego Bay and Negril. 
We booked at Marblue and once we arrived there, the ocean view was just breathtaking :-)....you literally walk 30 seconds into the ocean, itˋs that close! Between the pool area and ocean there is a wonderful palm garden with a hammock and sun loungers.

We booked the Pineapple Suite with direct access to the pool area and this wonderful ocean view. :-o The suite was in very good shape, big and clean, including a wide kitchen and fridge. A/C is available in every suite room on demand but we didnˋt go for it because of the nice ocean breeze.

In case of questions, the staff was ready to help right away and provided perfect tips for tours. Ijah, the chef, served us some finger-lickin meals with fresh and local ingredients :-).

So the total package at Marblue is really amazing and we will definitely re-visit. A big big "thank you" to Axel and Andrea of Marblue for their kindness and hospitality!!!



One word - AMAZING!

Marblue is a little slice of heaven!  I’ve been traveling to Jamaica for over 20 years and have known about this place but never stayed here until recently.  I wish I had stayed here sooner!  It’s quiet, peaceful and private.  The staff, Mr. Mr. Ihja, Mrs. Gloria, and Mr. Clevon “Natty” are there to assist but not to crowd you.  Always a kind soft greeting and a warm smile from all the staff.   The hosts Axel and Andrea are amazing individuals.  Their experience is obvious from the beginning at check in and throughout your stay.  They know what makes their guests happy, like fresh watermelon delivered out of nowhere!  I loved it.  The rooms are roomy and the lounge area in each suite is open to the pool/sea.  I was pleasantly surprised at my generous upgrade upon arrival!  My suite had a private plunge pool all to myself!!  WOW!  That’s Papaya Suite if you choose to book that for yourself 😊  The rooms are modern but not so modern you lose the Jamaican Vibe. The beach is right there through a little blue gate.  Hammocks and lounge chairs are there for your relaxation.  You can chill or book a long list of excursions.  I’m a chiller myself.   I’m working on my next trip hopefully in November.  I will never stay anywhere else but Marblue when in the South of Jamaica….its really is a dream come true. 

Peaceful, Relaxing, Private, Chill-A little slice of heaven!

I just returned yesterday from a 9 night stay. We found the grounds very well maintained and the pool cleaned daily. 

At the time of our stay there were 2 other couples and no children. If peace, quiet and serenity is what you are needing this is the place. All i heard was the sound of the waves and the warm breeze through the trees. 

Andrea and Axel were very kind and friendly towards us. They even through a small party one night to meet the other guests. 

The beach is beautiful. Its rough and natural and clean. 

I would return tomorrow if i could.
