14 reviewsWe stayed in this b & b for 7 days, to get there you can take the shuttle bus from the airport and the stop is very close to this guest house. It is about 20 minutes walk to the Vatican, 10 minutes walk to lepanto metro. Close to the castle and a nice plaza where locals hang out during the afternoon. There is also a nearby church if you need to attend a mass. Lots of restaurants around, also a supermarket. Our daily walk to the Vatican city enabled us to explore the streets around, see the street stalls, kids going to their schools and the daily vibe of this wonderful city. Our room was cleaned thoroughly everyday, toilet always shiny - giving us a very relaxing and a sound sleep every night after a full day of walking and exploring the sites. Francesca gave us the paper voucher for our daily breakfast which we claim on a nearby snack bar, coffee shop. The neighborhood is safe and quiet even during late night walks. The only initial problem was the credit card machine which was not working but we were not told in advanced. Anyway we chose to pay cash then, but for future guests please check with them the option of paying credit card.
