Just come back from a wonderful week’s stay at this beautiful B&B.  Lovely Italian building, our room had a balcony with a gorgeous sea view.  Everywhere clean and tidy.  Great position to explore the north east of Sardinia by car .  About a 15 minute walk from the nearest beach.  Our host Julia and her family made our stay fabulous.  She was so helpful with places to visit, and extremely welcoming & accommodating.  Great place to stay and will definitely be going back

Fantastic Italian B&B

I have just returned from a week at the Antica Isola. It was my first visit to Sardinia and I absolutely loved the island.
We flew into Olbia and had a car waiting for us. With the help of Google maps we negotiated the town/city and arrived 25 minutes later in the quiet little resort of Pittlongu and easily found Antica Isola and was welcomed with open arms by Julia and her family. We were shown our room (number 2) and it was fantastic. Very tastefully decorated with a modern  bathroom with a big walk in shower. The room had comfortable double bed and a single bed, big wardrobe and fridge and a good sized balcony with seating and table and spectacular sea views. We were very impressed. There is a breakfast room where Julia will serve her guests between 800-1000 and nothing is too much trouble. The food is lovely and I loved the espresso macchiato I was made each morning. During breakfast we would be given advice where to go and visit and where the best beaches and good restaurants are etc... and I was helped with speaking Italian too! Our room was cleaned and we got new towels every other day and we would be left gifts such as beer and snacks. 
The resort is great and although I would recommend car hire, as there are so many places to see and amazing beaches and coves to find. However, you do have, within walking distance.... 3 beaches, all of which have beautiful, gin clear waters with great snorkeling. There are 2 pizzerias and a supermarket within a 5 minute walk and a selection of restaurants within a kilometre.
The weather for the time of year was extremely good, high 20s and into 30s every day of our trip.
Julia and her family are very worthy of a 5 star review and I would love to return as there is so much more I would like to see on this part of Sardinia which we didn't get chance and when I do return I will be definitely staying at the Antica Isola. 


Lovely place to stay, in a beautiful part of Sardinia!

This B&B is in a quiet location in a smart residential quarter, on a gentle hill behind the village, within easy walking distance of the beautiful beach.  From the breakfast room, there are fantastic views over the surrounding hills and down to the sea.  The hosts are really polite, friendly and helpful.  Highly recommended.

Lovely view, lovely people

I had a terrific stay at Antica Isola and can definitely recommend it.  Very clean and nicely decorated each room has a very comfy bed and a nice balcony.  Upstairs there's a lovely terrace where you can soak up the sun and look out at the ocean.  The beach, a close walk away, is well worth the visit.  Restaurants and a supermarket are close by.  The hosts are wonderful - very welcoming and happy to help with any info needed.  They also serve a lovely breakfast in a nice room next to the terrace.  5 star value!

Excellent value B and B

Antica Isola is beautifully appointed. Everything about this B&B is immaculate and spotlessly clean. Bedrooms creatively furnished.  A very pretty breakfast room where we enjoyed a really good breakfast which varied each morning.  The roof top terrace is great for taking in the panoramic views. Within walking distance of the beach and a variety or eateries.  What makes this such a special place is Giulia and Qurrico. Such warm, generous hosts who make all their guests feel so welcome and for whom nothing is too much trouble. 
Would definitely recommend Antica Isola and we look forward to visiting again.

Absolutely stunning B&B.  Fantastic hosts..such kind and lovely people. Will definitely be back!

Close to beach, about 10 minute walk and some lovely restaurants near by such as Tetto Rosso. 

We rented a car to explore other beaches.

Absolutely amazing

We spent a wonderful two weeks in Sardinia. Small friendly family hotel is decorated with love in a rustic style. Clean rooms, change of linen twice a week, daily cleaning.  On the rooftop terrace, where you can sunbathe or on the contrary, to hide from the sun under an umbrella, sit with a book in the evening looking at the stars. The terrace offers a beautiful view of the sea and the mountains, hear the sound of the waves. Initially, the road to the beach seemed far away, on the other hand a great opportunity to walk. The owners are very friendly and warm people, thanks to them we felt the real Italy, this is a family dinner conversations late into the night in the yard, an invitation to go to the feast of mussels and much more. So exactly what we expected from the trip.

"a wonderful vacation in the Italian style"

We (2 adults + a child) stayed 1 night in this new cosy B&B run by Giulia and her husband. The room (number 3) was clean, romantically decorated, equipped with a small fridge and a private balcony. In Sardinia B&B have to offer wrapped-up factory breakfasts (for hygiene reasons?), but the one served at Antica Isola was really good with typical products. 
Only 2 further improvements to suggest: a better WiFi connection (which was extremely limited in our room) and the respect of departure hours indicated by booking.com (11:30 and not 10:30).
