I have stayed in Le Benducce twice, most recent April 9th, with a group from New York.  The rooms are spacious and clean with Breathtaking Tuscan views. Gabriela and her husband are  very kind and gracious hosts.  It is a good location to see southern Tuscany from Orvieto to Siena.

Lovely Tuscan Retreat

Most of the reviews are in Italian, and they are all 5 star.  Even if you don't understand Italian, trust the word of fellow reviewers.  Benducce was a perfect place for us to stay for 3 nights and explore the surrounding Tuscan towns and countryside.  We truly felt like we were guests in someone's home.  Gabriela and her husband were most accomodating as we had booked two rooms (2 couples travelling together) but they offered us their two room apartment which we preferred.  Peaceful, quiet, comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen made the stay perfect.  
Some guests might have lower tolerance than we did for the small shower space and the driveway/parking accomodations.  The hosts keep a fair number of cats and while they were not in the apartment while we were there, if you are allergic to cats you might want to think twice.
The hosts speak very little English.  Be prepared to communicate with gestures, smiles, and good nature if you don't speak Italian.  This was not a problem for us, even without words we were instantly fond of our hosts when we arrived.  Their graciousness and kind spirits transcend language.
Finding the place, as others have noted, is not easy.  Google maps does not lead you to Ag. Benducce.  Here is my suggested directions:
When arriving in Montalcino from Siena or Rome you will climb the hill that the town is located on.  Proceed toward the center of Montalciino.  At the roundabout take the 4th exit, toward Seggiano.  Proceed for 0.5 km and turn left at the blue sign which reads
"P. Benducce".  (be careful of oncoming traffic and use the roadside mirror as the left turn is on a blind curve).  Go down the gravel driveway for a total of 0.4 km, keeping the fence on your right, and staying right of the tree that is in the middle of the driveway.  On your right you will see the sign for Agroturismo Benducce and the entrance gate.  The driveway pretty much ends at the top of a steep dropoff just beyond the entrance gate!  Good luck.

Great find, gracious hosts, charming and comfortable, close to town

After asking three people including a municipal police officer for help finding this place we arrived. We were greeted. With a room upgrade, complimentary bottle of home made red and antipasto. The road in needs work, parking is sparse and that all adds to this places natural charm. 



Better signage

I really have no words to describe the beauty of this accomodation in every aspect. The rooms/apartments are very clean, very well decorated and you can tell that no expense has been spared. On the outside things are even more beautiful. The views around the accomodation are stunning, all sorts of fruits and vegtables are growing there such as tomatos, kiwis, grapes, chillis, lemons, literally everything (and the smell is great too!)

The private parking is good, Montalcino is within walking distance and the Abbey Sant'Antimo is only a 5 minute drive.

We arrived at Montalcino during a 2-week road trip - and I had not booked any accomodations for this point as we only needed somewhere for one night. After trying two or three other places nearby (some asking silly money) we ended up here. My first impression was that I cannot afford it and I should turn around my car, but I asked the gentleman how much for the night and I am sure he helped us out a lot. If you are reading this and can understand my English me and my girlfriend really cannot thank you enough! Both him and his wife were lovely and were a pleasure to spend time with - even with my poor Italian speaking.

Breakfast again great, fresh tomato brushetta, breads, ham, cheeses and good coffee. Best breakfast we had on this trip.

If you can afford to stay here (I am not sure of the normal price?), do! My only regret is our stay here was for only one night.

I don't think there was wifi here but trust me you will not need it.
