This place was a good choice for the welcoming check-in by Pietro, the very clean and modern room within a historic building, gracious gardens with lemon trees, close and secure parking. Lovely place for a morning caffe and dolce or afternoon drink just steps away. Our room had no water view but we don't tend to spend time looking at it from our room anyway. With a short walk you are at the water!It is worth noting that this location is further from the beach than the location of our last Meta B and B, but then closer to the train station. The train station is where we wanted to be for quick transit to Sorrento and other direction, Pompeii and Naples. What a great, easy way to access it all😉No: There are many stairs to the suite so mobility must be good (but for Meta too as a whole)Our only suggestion for the hosts would be softer pillows.(I often travel with mine so I am admittedly fussy!)The area is bustling when the season is on, so it is noisy unless windows are closed, but that is part of Meta's charm. And do remember you are on a busy street right outside the building!

Clean and close to the best of Meta.

We were intimate and grossly over charged by the owner. This is Not what it appears, very dangerous!! This is NO B&B just an old run down apartment. There are only two rooms on the top floor, air conditioning only in those two rooms. Avoid at all costs.

Beware!!

AC didn’t work; room was loud and overlooked a noisy highway! No view like in the ad. The “breakfast in bed” was actually a voucher to walk to a restaurant to get a croissant and coffee only. No hot water to shower. Tiny room with no amenities- not even cups. Room keys worked for every door- someone could easily break into your room. Up about seven flights of stairs with no elevator. Owner was shady; managed many other properties which were all probably just as bad. DO NOT GO HERE- it is a scam

Villa le Palme is perfect for your stay in meta, the owner pietro is an amazing person, nothing was too much trouble for him.
The room are beautiful, great breakfast included in a bar Just next door where they make everything fresh and also a perfect location.
Was worth every single euro and if we come back to meta we will only stay in this B&B

Perfect !!!!!!!!

This place was a disgrace. No hot water both mornings; owner had to come “fix it” and even then there was only enough for one person to shower: air conditioner was difficult to use. Safe did not work. Bulb of table lamp burnt out. Nothing to be found in the entire place (cups, extra supplies/amenities); not a real B and B as the photos are staged. You get a coupon to get a croissant and cappuccino down the road. All the photos of the “eating area” are not accurate. Room is barely large enough for two people and their luggage. Room overlooks busy and VERY loud street.

Last August I and my girlfriend went to Sorrento for a summer holiday. On internet there were lots of B&B and different accommodations to choose from. We decided to book a room in the B&B villa le palme and we didn’t go wrong!!
When we got there it was a pleasure meets Pietro and his brother Andrea two original genuine Italian people. The B&B is situated in a small village, called Meta di Sorrento which is only 5 minutes away from the beach and 50 meters from the first bus stop that take you to the city centre of Sorrento within approximately 20min. The room was big and had all the comforts. Each morning there was always a huge breakfast waiting for us and it was so romantic eat in the sunny garden. I recommend this accommodation to anyone wish to live Sorrento and its traditions. Thanks guys for the wonderful hospitality. I’m looking forward to next year.
