A perfect B&B in a perfect little village. The room is recently renovated & super clean. It’s at the far end of the village but still really close to the heart of town (5-10 minutes) great view with a little balcony over the lake. The owner is really sweet & accommodating. Parking is easy. Breakfast is perfect. Only 3 rooms total. What more could one ask!  Oh, if you go you must go to the grotto sant ana restaurant, Amazing! (Photo is from the room)

Great B&B

This was our first night in Italy and it was a very nice stay. The B&B was fairly easy to find, on the main road alongside the Western side of Maggiore (be careful not to speed past the entrance!) and they have enough parking for 1 car each for each room of theirs. The room was big, comfortable and had a nice balcony overlooking the lake. They have a private little area where you can go down to the shores of the lake and have a paddle, though it's not exactly a beach. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Only minor negative aspects were that parts of the room could use a bit of a clean and that there isn't anything within walking distance for food/drinks etc., so you'll need a car or to use taxis regardless

Comfortable stay on the banks of Maggiore

This small b&b is on the main road between Arona and Stresa on th side of lake Maggiore.
Our bedroom was very comfortable with a lovely balcony overlooking the lake.
The breakfast was good consisting of ham cereal croissant and cake.
The host speaks good English and is a wealth of knowledge.
Two things to be aware of the establishment only accepts cash which caught us out as we thought when they said no credit cards they would take a debit.
However we transferred the money on return home by bank.
Also the parking is fine but getting out onto the main rd is a bit hairy and not for the faint hearted.

Comfortable stay

Spent 3 nights here in late September, used it as our base for a sporting event not far away in Maggiora.

Could not be more pleased that we chose La Daserna. A better location you could not find, sat on Lake Maggiore, the views are absoultely stunning. 

A peaceful property that i imagine is hard to match, the hosts are a lovely couple, accompanied by thier lovely and friendly dog (Felipo!?), they are extremely helpful with great local knowledge of places to visit and Restaraunts to dine in. A private beach, and the possibility of a trip on the hosts own rowing boat also.

Breakfast location on the sun blessed balcony over looking the lake is nothing short of breathtaking, and the homemade cakes and pastries are great to set you off for the day.

Arona, is just a 2 minute drive away, a great cobbled town with stunning restaraunts and a great feel and ambience, whilst Meina is a slightly further 15 minute drive away in the other direction, which is also nice.

The hosts advised us on a trip to Orto san Giulio on our final day, and its a must, a lovely lakeside town with narrow cobbled streets, lots of shops, restaraunts and boat trips available. Love it here.

Have already spoken to the parents about them visiting for a long weekend of relaxing, I could not think of a better spot.
