I used to live in Frascati during the 80s and wanted to come back with my wife and daughter for a sentimental visit. We decided to stay nearby where we lived, on the outskirts of Frascati. Erba Regina was a perfect choice. The owner cultivates the lands and sells herbs and spices to local restaurants. The rooms are down one side of the building with tiny outdoor patios which are very comfortable. The rooms are tiny, but nice, with vaulted ceilings and very comfortable beds. Breakfast is included and was very tasty, Italian style continental with fresh baked croissants and pastries, fruits, jams, and excellent coffee. Close to downtown Frascati...about fifteen minutes by car. Be advised, this B & B is in the middle of agricultural land. No sights or shopping nearby. You have to drive to town for that. But it is extremely laid back.
