I was looking through pictures and realised I hadn’t written a review of our wonderful stay at dommu Agostina. The bnb is in a picturesque, authentic location in the cute little village of Baunei. Daniela the host is very welcoming, as was her mother - we felt very much at home. The views and breakfasts were amazing, we truly loved our stay here and are sorry it has taken so long to post a review. There is a great walk that can be done to Cala Goloritze beach and Daniela provides lots of information about trips/things to do. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quaint bnb in an authentic town - thank you Daniela, from your guests last year, Francesca and Chris

Perfect little BnB in authentic location

Located in the lovely village of Baunei, this B&B is the perfect place to stay. Daniela and her mother have beautifully restored and decorated their old, stone family home, creating a welcoming and restful space. 
The terrace is a particular highlight - a wonderful place to start the day with a delicious array of breakfast foods. As a tea drinker I particular appreciated the huge pot of green tea and accompanying slices of lemon which appeared for me every morning. In the evening, Daniela lights a multitude of candles creating a romantic place for after dinner drinks.
We stayed on the third floor. The room was small but comfortable, with a charming little balcony from which to take in the spectacular view across the valley to the mountains. A well appointed bathroom is shared between two rooms and mostly this did not cause any inconvenience.
Baunei is a great base for both beaches and the mountains. For instance in our 3 nights stay, we did sea kayaking at Tancau Beach and walked in the Gennargentu National Park. A couple of things to note. 
- We arrived on a Friday afternoon and the tourist information office wasn’t opening again until Monday. You might, therefore, need to do some research before you arrive for a weekend.
- The streets in Baunei are narrow and parking is tight. We found there sometimes weren’t available parking spots outside the B&B but we safely left our car in free spaces on the Main Street, close by. 
The hospitality offered at B&B is outstanding, as is the attention to detail, and we highly recommend this exemplary B&B.


Absolutely charming

Had an amazing stay here. The view from the rooms, and both terraces are spectacular and the house is so charming where every little detail is beautifully cared for and so well kept and squeaky clean. The beds, pillows and aircon was by far the best we experienced though our stay. Breakfast on the big terrace was such a treat. And the hostess Daniela is the sweetest and most serviceminded person you can imagine. So for a authentic and very special experience in a little village in the mountains close to ie. Cala Goloritze, Cala Sinine and the Gorrupu Canyon I cannot recommend this place enough. Thanks a lot Daniela!

Amazing and authentic

We visited in September 2017 and were so impressed with the place and the service. The house was a beautiful restored family home and the host, Daniela, was so pleasant and helpful. The terrace and rooftop were really well done and provided amazing views of the valley. The breakfast was delicious. Wish I had some of those recipes! We would definitely stay there again.

Amazing stay in Baunei

This small B&B is located in a quiet street in the centre of Baunei and all rooms offer an incredible view on the plain and sea in the distance. Rooms are tiny but nicely decorated and offer all necessary comfort. Bathroom has comfortable shower. Breakfast is one of the more elaborate I have experienced. The lady of the house speaks very good English and accommodates all your needs and questions. Superb terrace for the breakfast, nice common kitchen/salon if you need to warm up some food or hide from the heat. Rooms have air-conditioning, which was very welcome last August. The house itself has been in the family for generations and has been renovated with style.
